I haven't seen the movie yet, but I'm going to check it out.

Those interested in a clever interactive website, go to http://www.donniedarko.com/

Pay close attention, make sure the sound is on...

I saw it and I plan on buying it. I think its one of the most original and unique movies made since the late 60's - early 70's. Make sure you pay attention, though...

It is fun.
It is a good movie.
I have it on DVD.
I think they are releasing a director's cut of sorts eventually... or re-releasing it into theaters or DVD somehow I think... sometime this year... Or maybe that was just a rumor...

Sorry for bumping this thread but I finally saw this movie today and it was great!

I only have one question. Does the guy in the red sweat suit have any importance in the movie or was he just there for comedic relief?

Hmmm...I might have to see this one. How old of a movie is it?

I just saw Big Fish the other night. Great film, I highly suggest you rent it.

The movie was released in 2001 and has Jake Gyllenhaal from Day after tomorrow as the main character.

I disliked Big Fish. Way too sentimental and cheesy for me. Visually, it was pretty nice, but definitely very dissapointing for a Tim Burton movie.

Well, it was a great.. and well trippy movie...

I recently brought it for 5 bucks at Circuit City.. thought it was a steal at that price.. along with Boondock Saints which is another good movie that hasn't gotten mainstream acceptance.

I can't really say much about Big Fish except I fell asleep like 30 mins in.. woke up with like 10 mins to go and still got the story.

Ok that was creepy. Very good movie. Reminded me of The Butterfly Effect (I know, that one's newer).

I'm still trying to make sense out of it...

Have you guys seen the director's cut of Donnie Darko? It's just some new scenes added but it was nice.

i just got the director's cut, and i must say it's better... it's easier to follow because important bg info is in it. the only problem i have is the switch from the tears for fears song to a different one. it sucks. :P

I've heard mostly bad things about the director's cut... Saying that the plot is "spoon fed" to you... And that the music changes were unnecesary... And if you already have the original there's no real reason to pick it up...
