1. Have you ever had a strange experience that you couldn't explain? Like something strange that appeared as if you caused it. For example, maybe you touched someone's can of soda and then it froze solid.

2. If you answered yes to the above question, do you believe the experience was the beginning development of mutant powers?

3. Have you ever seen someone else display signs of mutant abilities?

4. Do you believe in mutants and being able to have special powers?

5. Have you ever had a paranormal experience? Like, maybe you got up in the middle of the night to go the bathroom and a ghost was staring at you? Or maybe you were camping with some friends and you witnessed a large, hairy creature walking upright that closely resembled a man.

Mutants, not yet.

Ghosts, no.

i beleive that mutants will be real within the next millenia (sp?) due to all the radiation produced on the planet, it will eventually absorb ito our bodies and cause wierd genetic deformaties in our children and our children's children and so forth. evolution basically :)

and the pic could have been edited by someone very skilled with photoshop :)

I like this thread. I like it a lot. :D

This one time something supernatural happened while I was at school, eating lunch. I was sitting at a round table, with 5 other friends. This girl sitting next to me was drinking water out of a plastic bottle. She had it sitting on the table between my tray and her tray. She started to reach up to get her bottle to take a drink. When her hand was halfway to the bottle, I quickly scooted my chair to the left, away from her. 3 seconds later, her hand makes contact with the bottle, knocking it off of the table, spilling water all over herself and the area I had been sitting in only moments before.

So my friends have all decided I have the ability to travel 3 seconds into the future, see what is going to happen, then come back.

This other thing happened once that kind of freaked me out. My parents and I were driving home from a shopping trip. On the way home, we passed through this open field. Evidently there was an airport nearby, because airplanes passed over ever so often, and they were really low. My Mom was looking out the window at them, and then all of a sudden she was like "wow!", we ask her "what?" and she explains that she saw this silver "crack" in the sky. I didnt see it, but she swore that she did. We thought it was kind of cool.

When we got home, we discovered a close friend of the family had died. :( Any connection? maybe.

Once, my two friends and I were outside in my yard at night. We were looking up at the stars, and we saw this one light, the size of a star zigzaging around the stars. It was going one way in a straight line, and when it came close to a star, it was change direction and go into another straight line until it came close to another star. It was very weird, but really cool, and I was very curious about it. I wonder if I was just imagining things, but my two friends saw it too. *shrugs* I wonder what it was.

thats cool

I alwase get deja vu(thx) it gets kind repetitive. =-D

Deja Vu would be the correct spelling. Hmm, Deja Vu is very interesting, sometimes I hate it, and sometimes it's real...like when I had my drivers ed thing, and the guy took me on the same expressway in the same direction twice. But when you're not sure if you've already done something or not, it sometimes makes you think..and it just makes you go crazy sometimes.

Oh and also, isn't it weird that whenever you're in a car and you look at someone else in a car, when you're at a red light, and they sort of know that you're looking at them? And whenever someone is looking at you, you look up and kind of knew that they were looking at you? I always thought that that was a sort of sixth sense for us, or maybe I'm the only one who notices that.

Deja Vu is an interesting concept. A glitch in the matrix??? maybe...but probably not.

Ive heard somewhere that deja vu occures when the brain accidently registers an event that is occuring as a memory.

And I have also noticed that you sort of "know" when someone is looking at you. For example, someone could be making absolutley no noise, but if they stand beside your bed while your sleeping for a period of time just looking at you, you will wake up. It's weird.

Err, I wish?

It's called the traveling circus.

4. Do you believe in mutants and being able to have special powers?

Human cells haven't been tamperred with enough to have truly special powers.

5. Have you ever had a paranormal experience? Like, maybe you got up in the middle of the night to go the bathroom and a ghost was staring at you? Or maybe you were camping with some friends and you witnessed a large, hairy creature walking upright that closely resembled a man.

a) Sure. b) Ghost only in the sense I thought the person was dead. c) Yeah, Aunt Edna

Mutants do exist. Not like the kind in X-Men, but there are humans with mutated body parts. Along with other animals that are mutated.

So yes, if you dont believe in mutants, than you are just denying the facts.

I always know when people are looking at me. I think that is nothing more than peripheral vision, though....

And one time in my basement, this guy appeared and he was like "You what's up guy, you got a smoke"... and I said no, then he ran up the stairs and out of the house... I went upstairs, and my front door was open! OWAH!! WOAH!!!

I can't remember any specific ones right now, but strange things happen all the time. But I'm not the type of person that believes in the supernatural, so I'm pretty sure that there was a simple logical explaination to those events. I just couldn't get my finger on it.

2. If you answered yes to the above question, do you believe the experience was the beginning development of mutant powers?
Some people watch to much tv...

3. Have you ever seen someone else display signs of mutant abilities?
Nope

4. Do you believe in mutants and being able to have special powers?
Yes I believe that mutants exists, because genetic alteration is pretty common I guess. As for special powers, I would say that it's probably possible (if we have anough knowledge about it) to alter somebody's DNA so that he's stronger or faster (a la Metal Gear) but other than that, not really.

5. Have you ever had a paranormal experience? Like, maybe you got up in the middle of the night to go the bathroom and a ghost was staring at you? Or maybe you were camping with some friends and you witnessed a large, hairy creature walking upright that closely resembled a man.

Sometimes I'll kind of think whether an upcoming event is going to be good or bad or not. Usually I'm right.

That's as close to "supernatural" that I've ever come.

I get Deja Vu all the time. And like Hero said, it does get a little annoying.

But as for ghost things. When I was living at a previous house about a year ago, once in awhile, the doorbell would go off. Sometimes just once, other times it would go for a minute. We would go to the door and no one is there. We only have 2 ways to push it. Backdoor and frontdoor. But no one was there. And we know it wasnt any prank people because some of the time I would be standing there looking at the doorbell AS IT WAS GOING OFF! (and no, i wasnt pushing it.) But this doorbell setup is just one you plug into an outlet and you have 2 "wireless" doorbell push button things. Eventually we called the ghost "Henry" for no apparent reason. And after we moved to the current house, the doorbell setup came with us and since then we've only had a few times where it went off and no one was there. But in the past 3-5 months (I can't remember), it hasn't gone off with no one there.

That's probably because everyone does look at each other at red lights. Everybody!

And I thought I was the only one with the 6th sense. I can sense when somebody's looking over my shoulder when I can't see them, or when somebody's sneaking up behind me. I feel the air in the room changing, and I get an extremely faint "whoosh" sound in my ears.

And when I enter a house (or a large room), I can tell if there is a TV on in the place (when the sound is muted, of course). Another 6th sense, I guess.

Like in The Ring? Damn, what a scary movie... My TV used to turn itself off after 30 minutes of watching.

i have the same thing, the tv has a weird ringing noise when you "sense" that its on. its so awesome

and another thing i think i have ESP. sometimes i would dream that something would happen like 2 weeks in advance and it would happen in real life and i always get freaked by it. :uhh:

1. yes. I was thinking about a childhood friend not too long ago,and when I was thinking about him, I felt uneasy. Like a pain inside me or something. just after this happened, I get a calll from my friend I was thinking about. It turns out someyhing bad happened to him(that I won't repeat) and he wanted to see me. a few days before this call came in, i heard his voice from time to time, or just that morning, I was making myself breakfast, and my father was the only other person there. In my head, I heard him say "hey". I asked my dad if he said something, but he didn't. he was listeneing to his headphones.....weirdness. like a 6th sense thing. other stuff like that happened and I predicted it..

2.no. just a weird 6th sense

3.not really, no

4.maybe as an evolutionary step in humans...but i doubt it

5.yes, I stayed at my buddy's house for the night, and I've been there often. it was close to midnight-1PM, and I had to get a drink. my friend was in bed the whole time, mind you, along with his parents sleeping. i go downstairs to get my drink. I go into the kitchen, open the fridge up, and get a soda bottle, and shut the fridge. Now, it's dark near the main room of the house, but not near the stairs. I look into the darkness, because i thought I saw a human shadow/silouhette. when I did, I saw these emerald green human eyes looking at me eye level in the darkness, then they vanished. they had a cat, but he was an outside cat, and there was no way he got back in, because i saw him getting taken out, and the doors aren't anywhere near the main room. another weird thing. oh, and i had a triple Deja Vu..yea, the same thing 3 times..it's whacked..but cool

Eh... I dunno if anyone is going to believe me, but I have dreams about things that are going to happen. It's really weird, I used to write them down a long time ago. Just recently something happened that I had written about in 7th grade. I stopped writing about them because the dreams are too vague to get a good grasp on what is actually going to happen. Besides it's a little too weird, and I'm never for sure when it's going to happen. So I don't worry about it too much. Hopefully if something really bad is going to happen I'll remember it!

My Mom and Dad both told me that the week before my grandfather died (I was six at the time and have little recollection of that period in my life) that I told him that he had a bad heart and that a doctor could fix it if he went to one. Well apparently he just laughed at me. The day before he died, instead of working in the garden like usual, he spent the entire day with me, so I'm pretty sure he knew he was going to die.

As For Ghosts, apparently my great grandfather used to see big black dogs with red eyes, or uh Grims. Once he saw one while going to his cousin's house and turned back and the next day he found out they had been murdered by some theif guy that they never caught. The house they lived in is close enough to mine, and it's supposed to be haunted. It's in the woods and we own it. It's really freaky to go there in the daytime. Apparently a lot of murders were committed in that house. It's pretty strange. I have a strange little family.

Anyway. Yeah.

That sorta happens to me but with TV. I'll be thinking about something for a good part of the day for who knows what reason; something obscure like eye surgery. Turn on TV and there it is. Happens all the time.

And Deja Vu I get at least once a day. The weirdest feeling...but I like. :)

And when I enter a house (or a large room), I can tell if there is a TV on in the place (when the sound is muted, of course). Another 6th sense, I guess.:D I also have that. There's this very high beep that the TV always makes. Only dogs and some people can hear it... and probably other animals. :)
Like in The Ring? Damn, what a scary movie... My TV used to turn itself off after 30 minutes of watching.
Remember that you have a Turkish TV. ;)

I can hear electronic devices. It's actually a genetic thing. It's like 30% of people can hear it. It's interesting because my Physics teacher had a TV turned around one day and turned on and she asked if anything electronic was on in the room and everyone was like "No." except me and I told her the TV was on. She asked how I knew and I told her because I could hear it.

So apparently I have better hearing than like 70% of the world!

HA!

Really, I've had that happen to me too.. But then again I think the house I currently live in is haunted. I'll tell you why,

It was about 3 weeks ago and I was coming back from my girlfriends house. It was kinda raining (sprinkling) so I shut all the windows in the house and turned the fans off in most of the rooms. I have a twin bed since I moved back in with the parents for a short time so since they had left to go to Gothenburg Nebraska for a familiy visit I said hell I'll sleep in their bed. So I went to bed at about 10 pm and around 12:30 I woke up to a door slamming, I was like hrm.. and said I must have been dreaming it.. Then another one slammed. So then I was like Oh **** someone must be breaking into my house. So I got up and searched for my dads handgun and got it loaded and started searching my house.. I went to the basement first and nothing was there I mean I literally searched every crevise.. But when I got to the basement a door upstairs slammed and I was like :errr: because there was no way someone could have passed me. So I sprint back up stairs and when I get up there There isnt anyone there but suddenly my bedroom door slams and I know the windows aren't open and the f*in fan is off.. So me being the big bad army man with a gun gets dressed in a hurry and goes to the grandmothers house because that freaked me out.. SInce then I won't stay in this house alone because certain things make me think this ghost doesn't like my family here.. Nothing bad has happened but It's just a feeling that I get......... Like right now I've got the feeling that there is someone behind me but I'm the only one awake.. It's bugging me...

I can do that too....its weird, then it makes me question my own sanity..

Whenever i hear an electronic devide ort something on, i whip around and look at it, then i see it was on when it wasnt before, then im all " Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat."

Its a good feeling to know im beter than 70% of people for something, nomatter how lame and useless it is..

I can do that as well. Sometimes I'm upstairs..and the tv is on mute downstairs in the family room and the sound just irrtates me! I have to shut it off...because from certain distances, or certain areas, you just hear this annoying sound just as annoying as a ringing noise in your ears.

I do doubt that 30% is accurate for "who can hear it." For people with standard hearing I mean. Mebbe it's that 30% recognize the sound and actually do something about it.
