Just look at this link and look at those temperatures...http://www.weather.com/weather/hourbyhour/USNH0154

I mean...I couldn't even begin to imagine what the hell it feels like to be in a -85 wind chill! -85! That's insane!

So what is the coldest you've ever been in? I've been in a -15 wind chill in Syracuse, New York and I thought that was cold...I can't even fathom what those people in New Hampshire and other New England places are going thorugh...

-15 wind chill.....pfffffft. I laugh at that.

Try -20 actual temperature the morning of march 3rd 2003 in Harbor Springs Michigan. And it was damn windy that day. Im not sure what the wind chill was. I think the high for the day was like 0. I was up there skiing, one side of the mountain was basically unbearable to ski on because the -20 degree wind was so cold in your face. Twas bone chilling. Although Im sure some of you canadians have felt worse cold.

Way back when I was young and in Ontario, I had some extreme temperatures, but I don't even remember what they were. I didn't have to go to school either because it was cold.

I've never even noticed weather ever since I moved to Vancouver. :P

It's spelled fahrenheit, for future reference in this thread. ;)

-60 with windchill. That was up the ski hill about 2-3 weeks ago. They closed the peak off that had the -60 windchill cuz you'd like, die. I went up the other peak "ridge rocket" which had a -55 WC temp at the top and it was insane. THey wouldn't let us up without full face protection otherwise we'd get frostbite in just a couple of seconds. I had to take my glove off at the top to adjust my face thingy and i couldn't feel my hand for half an hour(down at the lodge by a fire)

So ya, that's extreme temperatures. The day was perfect blue but with a pretty insane wind.

On the cliff above 'the bullet' peak the temp came in at -67 with a windchill. So ya, came home after one run and some warming up and watched peter pan.

edit: that's celsius of course.

The hell?! Near hurricane level winds at such extreme temperatures? And who said something about global warning? Heh.

But seriously... that's awful.

Hmmm, I forget where Farenheit meets Celsius in the negatives... something like -42 was it? I dunno. But... it's just nutty.

Today in northern Ontario it is -35 without windchill, about -45 with it (celcius). Tomorrow is supposed to be just as cold if not colder.
