Do you think WrestlemaniaX8 will be the greatest wrestling of all time?or do you think it will be trash like Smackdown?or will it be as disappointing as No Mercy?
I don't think it will be perfect nor do I think it will be trash like Smackdown.
i hope there can at least be 8 people in the ring for the royal rumble...

I agree with you nWoCHRISnWo. lol. anyway :P
No Mercy was great, but i don't think that wrestlemania will be the best wrestling game. I heard that on wrestlemania x8 the wrestlers can have only two specials, but on no mercy you could have wrestlers with 5 specials. Maybe that's the only thing i won't like about it cuz the game is looking damn fine. Hell, i even liked smackdown and i know wmx8 is gonna be better :D
No Mercy is probably the greatest wrestling game to date.
But even tho i havnt played it in a while. im not sure exactly what you mean by 5 specials. i mean when he gets speical meter up you move joystick to do special. thats 1.
And i know if you rotate the joystick like counterclockwise? it steals the oponents special. but not sure if that counts as a special for your character cuz he's stealing it.
not sure i remember the others. its been a long time. BUT, why do you need more then 1? if you have a ton of speicals doesnt the speical kinda lose its value? Speical is supposed to be the characters BIG move. just seems like another move if theres a bunch of speicals.

In No Mercy you could have nine specials...
And I don't think WrestleMania-X8 will be the best.

Hmm in an ideal situation it should be an even number...
Normal grapple
Behind the back grapple
Turnbuckle grapple
Top Rope(Standing)
Top Rope (n the floor)
Turnbuckle(back)
Running Special
At the Foot(Oppent on back)
At the Foor (Oppenent on stomach)
At the Head(Oppenent on back)
At The Head (Oppenent on stomach)
From the Ring Apron
Hmm count 12..And if your oppenent has all of them another 12.. so in a match you can have 24 or so

Greatest Wresling game to date is Virtual Pro Wrestling 2. No other game compares.
It had every move from WM 2000, WCW Revenge, and every major Japanese feds movesets also.
Plus they had by far the best costume selection. It had a build your own mask option that was phenomenal. There is no comparison.

More often than not, if you ask someone about No Mercy they'll tell you they love it or it's their favourite wrestling game/one of their favourite wrestling games. Maybe it's a dissapointment to you, but then I'd have no idea what standards you were setting and what you thought was gonna be on it... The majority of the people don't think it's a dissapointment, so in general, it's not.

Well, even though No Mercy is a great game, I still think WM2000 was better. It had more moves and more costumes than No Mercy.
But as I said, its only the best wrestling game made for the American audience. I insist everyone buys an import of Virtual Pro Wrestling 2. then you will know what a wrestling game SHOULD be.
