Dvdx is a program to convert your dvd's to mpeg. Although I am having problems with the program I keep getting audio errors like it will lag and then play the sound. I'm confused.. I have a scratched to hell dvd that I had loaned to my girlfriend but I was smart and made a copy to my hd beforehand and then when I got the cd back I'm going to try to make a vcd of it to replace my dvd any help or ideas ?

Oh and by the way dvdx is freeware. Just google it and then look for the dvdr help site :)

How deep are the scratches on the DVD? You should really either pick up a disc doctor or take the disk in for professional resurfacing.

Other than that, I've always had trouble getting audio to sync when burning DVD's. If anybody has a software solution, I'd love to hear it.
