i live here in good old council tucky.. are you kidding me... the cops in this town couldnt even find a mole on their ass!... some cops are decent, they actually do their jobs... i respect those kind of people, but the ones that turn their damn lights on to run red lights and stop signs are ****ing assholes... i dont consider almost being side-swiped by a cop going through a damn intersection.... to serve and protect.... that damn pig....!
I live in a quiet neighbourhood too. Very little crime. One night, we had our Camry out with the trailer attached. We had a lot of rental and personal construction tools we were using to touch up my dad's office. It got stolen. The police found the trailer first, and then they found the car somewhere; thank god. We got it back.. before, it was full of personal stuff, and quite messy (Disneyland hats, golf clubs, and a whole hell of a lot of other stuff. Thousands in rental and personal tools.
Well, at least the car finally got cleaned! But in a bad way.

thanx guys... its a silver chrome color, no colored side moldings, just all silver.... on the back window there is a black iowa western sticker... its rare, because there are no suzuki's at the college this color, and the license plate is 668 FJD, unique too... it has chain license plates around it.. if removed.. there should be a lewis and clark recreation sticker in the front passenger side window, its colorful, you cant miss it, its a pic of two guys in a boat fishing on water... hard to remove.... i tried to be as descriptful as i could... if seen please call the police, or email me at rockwelljulie@hotmail.com as for the deductable its all covered, the police say give it until next monday to be found, if it isnt found, it'll just be written off as a loss...
Thanx guys

Sorry to hear it Jewels, hope the car is recovered.
Without sounding like a jerk, I'd like to advise that your dad lock the car after he starts it up and retreats to the warm house, because no matter where you live, there's always going to be a bad person.

some slick sick bastard stole it! Of course some of you are probably thinking what a dumbass....
Yea, I was thinking what a dumbass for wanting to steal a suzuki..........Oh you were referring to your dad. Nevermind.
But seiriously that sucks though...I do that from time to time, and my parents warm their cars up just about every morning...they also almost never lock their cars when they're parked at home, and often leave them at home...but then again, their cars arent exactly the kind of things you'd want to steal...my dad's got an 89 oldsmobile cutlas supreme, and we've also got an oldsmobile 98 minivan.

Sorry to hear it, Julie, and I hope it shows up! Warming up a car is common, so it's not your dad's fault.
I had a car stolen, too. The first day of my life at university (when I was supposed to move in) I walked outside my brother's apartment to find my Suburban stolen along with everything I owned in it. New computer, monitor, TV, speaker system, Gamecube, games, CD's, etc. It reminded me of Fight Club.
But I was fortunate. I hate clothes shopping, and my suitcase (thank the gods) wasn't in the car :).
Plus the car showed up a month later in front of some old lady's house in terrible condition. The old lady was obviously guilty and we had her whipped. But now we finger the old beast to get her unlocked and use a screwdriver to start her. And somehow despite how ugly she is and how poorly she runs, everyone at college seems to love her.

well now... he wont exactly be able to lock the car, for we dont have it anymore :( and he just doesnt warm up cars anymore.... he sits in it and waits.. or locks it... poor guy loocked like a deer in the headlights.... when he realized what happened..
