I spent 5 hours on this damn project. Enjoy. :)

http://members.shaw.ca/commencer3/games

Chair.jpg: This is where I play games with the Wavebird mostly. It's my chair and my favourite blanket (that my grandma made for my mom when she was a kid a loong time ago.)

Connectivity.jpg: Ah! The old Tugboat GBA chugging along. Lol. I tried taking this one in the dark, but it flashed too much and it looks pretty bad. Ah, well.

DC.jpg: Here's my short but sweet Dreamcast collection. On top we have a signed white Dreamcast (by Gabe of http://www.penny-arcade.com). Then there's my VMU and controller.. and the four games are, from left to right: A signed copy of Shenmue (by Gabe again), Sonic Adventure (Limited Edition!), Ready 2 Rumble, and Jet Grind Radio.

DDR.jpg: Ah, my good ol' DDR pad. It's got a lifetime warranty on it, so whenever I feel it has worn out, I bring it back to EB in it's box and they'll give me a new one for free. This one's been holding up pretty well, though.

GB.jpg: This is where the camera goes weird. I don't know what was wrong. Anyways, it's my original Game Boy. Four games, from clockwise starting from top left: Beetlejuice, Mario Land, Castlevania: Adventure, and Tetris. The screen's also reflecting one of the million game posters I have in my room. I think that one is Aria of Sorrow's.

GBAboxes.jpg: Whoa, all my game boxes, but mostly GBA. Well, not all of the boxes, actually. Need me to do them left to right? Ah, alright. Top, left: Digimon box (the old bandai VP), Majora's Mask box, OOT box, Mario Kart: Super Circuit, Golden Sun 1 and 2, Metroid Fusion, Final Fantasy Tactics: Advance, FIRE EMBLEM, Advance Wars 1 and 2, Sonic Advance 1 and 2, GT Advance, and Smash Bros for N64 on top.The bottom row: Pokemon Yellow, Pokemon Red's old box is squished way in there, Castlevania: Circle of the Moon, Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, Mario Golf, Perfect Dark, Pokemon Silver, Pokemon Ruby, Zelda Oracles, and Super Mario Advance. To the left of that I keep all my Nintendo Powers and Players Guides.

GCN.jpg: A lot of my Gamecube collection. SC2 isn't mine. You can read most of those boxes so I won't type them out for you. 1080, Viewtiful Joe, Metroid Prime, and Mario Kart are cut off a bit, though. And that OOT belongs to Talbain. Note the swank carrying case, Datel Keyboard, 4 59 memory cards, and the Mario Sunshine and SP keychains attached to the game jacket.

Genesis.jpg: Whoops! Another headache one. It's my Sega Genesis (Dylflon's old one). Clockwise from top left: D&D game, PGA game, NHL 96, NHL 97, Sonic, Head-on Soccer, Tiny Toons Sports, and Ecco. He's getting me the boxes for those, and the Tasmanian Devil game.

Laptop.jpg: This is what I work with, with my SP to the side (Fire Emblem being played, naturally) and my PDA to the very left in it's cradle. I was talking to dylflon on MSN 6 at the time. Fun: Try finding my Majora's Mask soundtrack, my webcam, and my Chinese learning kit.

Matrix.jpg: All my Matrix DVDs. It'll be complete once Revolutions comes out in a bit.

N64.jpg: You guessed it.. all my N64 stuff. Everything's pretty legible in this pic, too. If you want to know which game is which though, just ask. And yes, that's Superman 64 in my collection. It's a gem Missing: Goldeneye, and The World is Not Enough. You'll see why later.

NES.jpg: My perfect-working NES. Everything works the minute you put it in. No blowjobs, no nothing. Perfect everytime. Top left clockwise: Mario Bros/Duck Hunt, Metal Gear, Castlevania 3, Final Fantasy, Defender of the Crown, Ultima, Zelda 2, Zelda 1, Karnov (got it for free, don't ask), and Jeopardy (which Dylflon and I pwn eachother at all the time). Plus two light guns, two controllers.

Normal.jpg: What my setup down on the ground looks like. I have S-videos going into the back of both.

PA1.jpg: My PA comic collection. From left to right: The changing one. It has my favourite comic of the week every week. Not signed. The next three ones are, though: The PSO one, the Kingdom Hearts one, and the Shenmue one. All signed by Tycho of http://www.penny-arcade.com . I know, his signature isn't very flattering, but it means a lot to me.

PA2.jpg: My PRECIOUS! My personal Cardboard Tube Samurai portrait by Gabe of Penny Arcade himself! I also printed out my favourite CTS comic to go with it. In the background I have my SP collection that I take a pic of later.

PA3.jpg: Gabe also signed Rogue Leader and Eternal Darkness for me. What a swell guy!

PA4.jpg: AND he signed my Shenmue.

PS1.jpg: My blossoming PS1 collection. Just in case, from left to right: Driver 2, Resident Evil 2, 2Xtreme (I know it's crap), Megaman X6 (I lent my Goldeneye and The World is Not Enough to my friend for this for a while), Blasto, Final Fantasy Tactics. Next row: Spawn, FF7, Chrono Cross, FF9. Last row: Twisted Metal, Suikoden, Vagrant Story, and Legend of Legaia.

PS2.jpg: Mmm! PS2. It's my newest collection. Still working on it a bit. The only ones you can't really see well are Devil May Cry and Virtua Fighter 4. The other ones are plain as day.

PSO.jpg: This is what usually goes on in this room! The Gamecube version of PSO with my trusty Wavebird and Datel keyboard at my side. Also, my official drink to the side there, Tea. Yum. I can't remember what they were saying on the screen at the time, but that's me up there in the lobby.

Pile.jpg: I know! Another headache. Well, the deal is, I only had so many pictures left, and I wanted to make a group shot. I had already started a pile before, so I just took everything else and put it in. The shelves are totally clean. :P My mug of tea is empty at this point.

SMS.jpg: Another headache one. Ow! Mine's starting to hurt too! Well this is my Sega Master System, with one light gun, one arcade stick, and 3 controllers. It works great. I play Outrun and Safari Hunt on it.. no games yet though.

SNES.jpg: Where it all started for me! You can see Chrono Trigger leaning up against the SNES, Mario RPG to the right, and LTTP to the left. And yes, that's Shaq Fu at the top. Crap, I know. :P I'll do the typing for this one anyways: Top left: Super Mario World, Super Scope 6, Yoshi's Safari (another Super Scope game). Next row: Mario Paint, DKC2, Starfox, and DKC. Next row is: NBA Showdown, Battle Toads Double Dragon, Super Mario Kart, and Goof Troop. Next row: Clayfighter, LTTP, Mario RPG, and Super Tennis. And of course, Chrono Trigger. Best game ever made. Lower is the Super Scope, receiver, and SNES mouse.

SP.jpg: This one I wish would have turned out better the most. This one's my fav. There's my swank new Onyx SP. Games: Top left: Advance Wars 2, Sonic Advance 2, Mario Kart, Golden Sun 1. Next: GT Advance, Pokemon Ruby, Advance Wars 1, and Golden Sun 2. Next: Metroid Fusion, Castlevania: Circle of the Moon, Sonic Advance, Super Mario Advance. The last row, the ones I play the most: FIRE EMBLEM, and Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow. Score! Also note the hot SP keychain, headphones, carrying case, and charger.

Unpiled.jpg: This is actually before I started ripping stuff apart. This is what it normally looks like! I swear!

Xbox.jpg: Last but not least, Xbox. Everything is legible in this one (thank god!!) Note the swank Xbox keychain attached to the swank Xbox game jacket. And carrying case to the side. I took this on Jazz Band trips and we would play Nightfire. NOTED IMPERFECTION: I don't have Halo. I don't like Halo. I rented Halo. I didn't like it. End of story. Now waiting for Halo 2 to see if they didn't screw up.

...And that's not even close to the rest. I missed all the game posters in my room, all my magazines, my cardboard cutouts, oh god, too many. Now, I'm 5 hours down the crapper, and I have school tomorrow. No way I'm doing more. Good night sleep for me, thanks. I hope this headache goes away. ;_;

Damn you, get to work on the rest of it. :bendover::whip:

But anywho:p Nice collection there! My bedroom walls are plastered with posters (I'm close to no more wallspace, then I have to makeshift each ones). +rep just because you spent all this time working on it:)

Only two views? Aww man.. that's disappointing... :(

So.. I just cleaned up the big pile today. I don't have any consoles on the floor now. It looks very clean and tidy. I'll take a picture of it tonight. Aand.. a picture of whatever I get with my money tonight. =D

I looked at it. Very nice collection. :)

I wish I had a digital camera. I would take pics of my collection and post it.

Actually, it's quite a wild standard deviation.. I couldn't say an average.. O_O Mostly depends on how much I make and whatever's available.

Yep.. I've been doing that collection for about 2 years now. I was mostly "hardcore" into games and owned only SNES and N64 up until 2001, when I got the Gamecube. Smash Bros Melee got me thinking (about the whole collection thing in the background of the nintendo consoles) that I should complete my Nintendo collection. I eventually went multi-platform when I bought that Game Gear the following March after Gamecube was out (I was mainly disappointed in it's lack of games). I then bought Dreamcast and discovered Shenmue, which lead me to buy Xbox, which had MGS2, which led me to buy PS2. And Genesis and Master System came from friends. :)

Thanks for your replies. :)

Edit: Stopped off in mid-section in the first paragraph. O_O;;

w00t! Nice dreamcast man. I loved that thing...I still play mine from time to time. I even grew to love the annoying Disc reading noises.

Nice collection Dyne :)

Your Gamecube keyboard must have been very pricey and hard to get since there really is no official keyboard.

You should get a Panasonic Q also :D

I haven't looked at the pictures yet because they'll take too long on this computer, but from the descriptions it sounds like you have a nice collection. I'd like to do some shots of my collection, maybe I can use my mother's digital camera.

nice collection...i would like to do something like that, but the majority of systems i play on belong to my mom so it would kind of be lieing...

PS: looking at the pics got my mom and I to talking about NES and she asked where ours is, I informed her that we haven't been able to find it since the last move so she's going to buy another one... yay

Your mom is into Videogames...thats freaking awsome. My dad used to play NES Open on the NES(Basically the first Mario Golf game), but thats really the only videogame he ever played. And my mom has never played anything really.

Thanks guys. :)

Jason1: It's not too noisy when I put it on carpet, but it's really noisy if you put it on a hard surface. Whenever I play it, I just put it down on the ground. And NES open? I remember a game called just "Golf" and the two golfers look a lot like Mario. I think it's in Animal Crossing. Same game, different name or something?

GM: Mmhmm! And they were discontinued, too. It should be a real rarity. They look so goddamn awesome too. :)

Germanator: I look forward to seeing your Famicom and Super Famicom. :)

Jeepnut's Slave: Make sure to buy a working one! Also, just in case, head on over to the Classic Gaming site; I hear they have a great tutorial on how to make your NES work like new. I worked off that one myself.

Perfect Stu: Heck yeah, PS2 is the gaming staple. :)

And guys, I'm proud to announce, I'm finally the proud father of a Turbo Grafx 16. It's in excellent condition. I bought Bonk, R-Type, and Keith Courage with it. Ah, nostalgia! I love the TG16. I think I'm going to focus my efforts on TG16 Hucards now. There's a whole book at the store I go to.. I thought I'd only buy a few for now. My brother also bought Lost Kingdoms, Wario Warez, the Rebel Strike demo disc, and Sword of Mana. So, add those to what you see there. :)

My parents play a lot of video games too. Just a few days ago, we played a sweet match of Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour, and several rounds of Mario Kart. Heck, they got me into games.

Ooh man, I would kill to play adventures of Bonk once more...I think I sold my Turbo Grafx way back when...

Here's a knife! :D

Oh man, I bought TG16 just for Bonk. It rocks so much. As soon as I hooked it up I tried to see how far I could get. Man, I was better when I was a little kid. :( I got to the wood level and died. Did you have any other games? Recommend any? There's a whole book on my name on it, and I don't know where to start.

I second that.

You have R-Type for the TG16. You're my hero.

For some reason, whenever you lay your stuff out like that it looks way more impressive. I've got over 100 NES/SNES/N64 games, (total) but just sitting on my "media rack" they look rather unimpressive.

Thanks. :) Yeah, I knew I would want R-Type. When I bought it, the guy even said "it's one of the best shooters of all time" so I'm glad I did. I didn't see the second version though; that's kind of disappointing.

I know what you mean about the "stack" formation.. I guess we just get used to it over time.

They released that in 1991.. Golf was released before that. I guess you could say that's the real first Mario Golf. ;)

God, I swear I learn about a new old NES game every day.

Speaking of golf....

I was at GameCrazy a few weeks back (if you don't know what that is, think gamestop, but they're inside of Hollywood video) and I've never heard of this game before, and it probably doesn't work, and I'll probably never play it, but for $2 I simply had to own, "Lee Trevino's Fighting Golf"

Ah, SNK.. humble beginnings, great midlife, sad end.. and humble rebeginning. Anyways, yeah, some of SNK's early games were good. And $2.00 is one hell of a deal.

So, I took pictures of my Turbo Grafx, the new cleaner setup, and Dylflon's awesome DVD collection.I'll post em tomorrow for you guys. Dylflon's collection goes in another thread, too.

Hmm, so today, I just bought a bunch more. A Genesis 2 and a Sega CD inparticular. I also got Sewer Sharks for free, and I bought Sonic CD. Sooo, I'll need to take pictures of that as well.

Heck, I also have to redo most of those pictures, on top of posting the rest of the entire collection. I'll probably do that tomorrow.

Original point in buying it! There's Lunar 2: Eternal Blue for a really good price in my local classifieds. I was so caught up in buying the Sega CD..

Now, the only problem is, I have no money! ;_;

Actually, interesting history. My username came from the first Lunar. I loved it so much on my friend's old Sega CD. I also played Eternal Champions to death. I want to look on Ebay, but I know so many people have been cheated (even Dylflon who lost $45 on a Saturn deal.)

Anyways, anyone want to donate to the Dyne fund? I need that Lunar 2. ;_;
