Favorite Lead Singer

Who is your favorite lead singer? Who compels you? Doot Doot. I know I'll see Kurt about 80 billion times but oh well. My favorite lead singer is Adam Duritz the lead singer of Counting Crows. He writes some powerful stuff.

Axle Rose.

He has the most awesome voice ever. Its so gritty and powerful. And I love the songs he sings also.

Fat Mike of NOFX. Anybody even somewhat rooted into Punk would know of him. 90% of their stuff is extremely controversial, and almost 100% of their stuff is political, a song of his "The Idiots Are Taking Over", is a perfect example of why i love this group. Plus they kick a** live.

I'll go with something different with Grace Slick from Jefferson Airplane. She has a powerful, clear, no-nonsense voice which makes for some great songs.

I like Roger Daltrey of The Who. His voice is distinctive and you can just tell it's The Who, and, I just love their music. Though, the band wouldn't be anything without Peter Townshend and his great lyrics.

Jenny Lewis of Rilo Kiley. Beautiful voice, beautiful songs, beautiful girl. Doesn't get much better than that.

Whoa I saw A Perfect Circle in concert in Louisville, KY and Maynard was really sick but he still put on the best damn concert I've ever seen. I got thrown into the Mosh pit. It was crazy. Maynard is probably my second favorite frontman. I saw an interview with him last night that Kurt Loder did. He said he shrouded himself in mystery so his son wouldn't get harassed. That's cool.

So, Im listening to music on VH1 classic, and I see a guy that Ive been listening to my entire life, and I think I like him better than Axle Rose.
