Going overseas :(

Okay I've got two questions, I'm going to be heading overseas soon. And I wasn't sure about this what is a good laptop brand in your opinion and if anyone could find information on satellite modems would be greatly appreciated :)

Apple laptops are great but I don't know what your needs are. Are you looking for just a communication tool so you can e-mail and stuff?

Yeah and games, I'm not big on macs even though I do dial up tech support for them I'd much rather stick twoards a PC

Toshiba
Gateway
Dell


toshiba's are much more expensive tho. dells and gateway are fairly reliable and cheaper prices.

recommend strongly against a Celeron processor tho.

Edit. dont get an Hp, compaq or lower brands like that
