Hmmmm...that does sound pretty good.
One thing I was very happy to see is that they are changing the way the controls work. That so so annoying the way they had it before.

This should be in PS2 Online, but whatever.
One thing I don't like is the fact that the game won't have any communication...

It'll have communication... Just not the ability to say anything you want. I personally approve of it. It'll cut keep people from talking in 1337 sp34k. Keeps idiots from ruining the atmosphere.

And it'll keep intelligent people from having good conversations. I wouldn't play with anyone who talked like an idiot anyway, so I'd much rather have full communication abilities.

A game really isn't a place to have conversations... not a Resident Evil game anyway. This isn't an MMORPG where you can just stand in a city and talk away or something. This is a game where you actually progress in a story and such. Even if you found someone you could have a nice conversation with, the other players would probably get mad at your for holding the game up or being distracted because you were talking.

I take it that you haven't played SOCOM II yet...

It shouldn't be in PS2 online, cause a big part of the game is offline. Apperantly they thought the online part only would sell it, I think they're right. :)

The game does sound intriguing....I haven't read up on the latest updates, but when I get time I will.
