My question to all of the gametavern folks is this how many of you pay bills and howmany still live with your parents. Well this is more directed twoards those over the age of 18 because I have a friend hero2 who lives with his parents and he makes fun of me for not having money all the time like he does.. Well for one I live with 3 roomates and own my vehicle and have full coverage un like him who's parents normally help him out with everything.. I'm not trying to dis on him I'm just proving to him making fun of someone because they don't have the expendable gross income is overly inaccurate and you shouldn't do it.

Is this a legitimate thread or just a thinly disguised public complaint against hero2?

Anyway, I would fall under both categories. I pay bills, but I get help from my parents and a scholarship.

Once I graduate, I'm probably going to still live with my parents while I go to college. That works well.. my parents stayed with their parents until they got married, and that was a while after they finished college.

I don't pay any bills now, and I won't when I go to college because my grandad was nice enough to start a college fund way back when. Anyway, I shouldn't have to worry about paying bills until I finish college or get my own place before that or something.

Next year, I'm going to a junior college nearby so I'll be styaing at home but I'll probably have to pay for car insurance and gas. And I'll have to get a job.

Or get yourself thrown in prison, then you don't have to worry about food, shelter, bills, rent, etc. They take care of all of that for you. All you have to worry about is making friends, exercising and watching TV everyday. So much for "punishment", lol.

Yeah but then I wouldn't have any money to spend on useless computer things like a video capture card :)

Only bill I have right now is cable/digital cable/broadband. Other then that...I am basically free to spend on what I want/need since I still live at home.

I would never resort to another man, a good pillow is the only substitute I would use.

No, be a sexual offender. Up here, I visited a correctional facility campus.. it had cabins for each person, and had a computer and internet access in each one. Look mom, no gay!

Well I live off campus and have to pay phone, internet, rent, water, electric, etc. But I get scholarships and financial aid so that pays all my school bills and then the rest comes back to me. So that money is used for the necessities. My parents pay for my car, insurance, and sometimes gas. In the end, i have a little extra cash from my financial aid to kick around so I try to budget it as best as i can.

Sure I've seen it, who hasn't. But he/that couldn't be helped (until he made a deal with the gaurds). Not bending down is a precaution that would decrease you chances of something unfortunate happening!

Plus, I don't recall him getting sexually abused. Sure he was about to be, but then he went on about the business with a locked jaw ;). He was just brutally battered from what was 'shown' to us. Maybe he was.

Oh, and to the topic, yeah, I pay for my bills and I live with my own family now, not with my parents.

I pay for...nothing.

My parents even pay for my school lunch. But Im just a Sophomore in highschool. Im 16, and I have my drivers permit, and I'll be able to get my liscense in Febuary, so I'll get a job then.

Until then...I dont pay for anything, but I only get 8 dollars a week for allowance.

But, thats cool. I dont really gotta buy anything except luxuries.
