View Full Version : The Decors!
It's a bit late, but have you got all the stuff up yet? Outside lights, inside tree?
We just did both today. It was a bit of a hassle to find the right things, but we did it. The lights look awesome and we finally found the perfect place for the tree this year.

We got our tree and lights up the first weekend of December but we just decorated the tree tonight. Then we ate cookies. I love the festive holiday season. :)

We haven't done any of that stuff yet...and I haven't started Christmas shopping either...I've got some work to do.

Wow, I didn't know you could leave it so late. Anyways.. it's not really that hard.. it only takes a day to put both up--if you have a lot.

I put the tree up (fake, yuck) when I was home for thanksgiving but most decorations don't go up until beginning of december. When i return home there should be plenty of decorations.
I love Christmas time.

We put our lights and tree up (fully decorated) the day after Thanksgiving, just like we do every year.
I love Christmas time.
Cheers! :D

No tree but my outside decorations are up. My mom bought a 4 foot tall self inflating reindeer. It rocks.

We put up our outdoor lights right after Thanksgiving, and we put up our tree last week. Tonight I'm going to move most of the presents under it. My mom still has a few to wrap. And then I have my own birthday tree which I share with my sister :). That is also up.

How do you mean? It's not like it's physically impossible to get a tree later than the 15th...As long as it's up there around Christmas Eve, that's fine with me. It'll be up till January something anyways.

Ive done no christmas shopping at all. In fact my sister bought some games and told me that it was her cristmas present from me all I have to do is pay her back. as for decorations my parents have this 2 foot tall fake tree that came decorated. I probly wont even be home on christmas all holiday cheer left my house 3 years ago now all we do for holidays is I wake up early say hi and go back to bed. Except for the 4th of july then its all illegal fireworks =-D

There's virtually no trees around here when it comes this late.. that's all. And sometimes there's no real time to enjoy the tree if you just have it up for a week..
Ah well..

I had to put all the lights on the roof by myself like 3 weeks ago...not fun! Got shocked 3 times (last one was just for fun :p ) and fell off(yes) once. At the end it didnt work so I waited for the next weekend and finished the job...Looks nice though:D .

You're sick! You're sick!
Just kidding. :P Yeah, I got electrocuted many a time. Funny they mostly happen around Christmas. :P I got shocked once this year.. a staple from last year was poking through on of the wires and was conducting, and I grabbed it by accident. My whole hand was numb for a while, but it's fine now.

We have crappy microscopes in our Bio lab. If your eyebrow touches the eye piece your eyebrow hairs conduct electricity and you get shocked.
It hurts. Damn you biology!!!
