I just got done watching extras on Pirates of the Caribbean DVD and I must say, they are awesome! Any other thoughts or other good dvd extras?

Thanks again, jeepnut, for the movie!

For a half-way decent Disney movie, there were WAY too many extras. Some girls from upstairs were watching them in our room for almost 2 and a half hours before we kicked them out... the movie was decent, but not good enough to waren't that man specials... and some of the specials were just dumb... some of it was quite interesting however...
and JOHNNY DEPP ISN'T THAT HOT... neither is orlando bloom

This could get interesting.

Personally, I thought the movie was awesome. One of the better ones of the year. Also, I would be willing to say that Johnny Depp is a man that other men can look up too. I know that if I looked like him, I definitely wouldn't be ashamed.

Last Friday I watched some of the extras at a friends house, not all of them though. I thought the segment on how they made the Pirates look like skeleton/zombies at night was interesting. Computers are so cool.

They ARE amazing actors, however. As for Orlando Bloom, how can he not be a ladies man? He was Legolas! Ultimate role.

This is a DVD thread gone horribly wrong. :p

But while we're on the topic of men, :shakehead The only way I can decide if a guy is good looking or not is if I would want to look like them. And I wouldnt mind looking like Johnny Depp.

Plus, I think he played the role of Cap'n Jack Sparrow perfectly.

Johnny Depp made that movie a good one...although he won't, he should be considered for an Oscar nomination.

Pirates is a great movie. Depp was great, it wouldnt have been as good without him. He should get the oscar nod, but I dont think he will.

Hotness does not equal talent and that is totally not what the thread was about. But, Johnny Depp does have some very nice attributes and I personally would not mind having him for my man.

I think the computer work was totally cool, and getting to see the shots as they were taking them was definately interesting. Especially seeing a progression of background action, main action, and special effects. But if you didn't like the movie, that's fine. I do however think you may be in the minority. (Someone can prove me wrong though, I am always willing to accept defeat... except in battles with jeepnut)

He was AWSOME as Legolas... he was GEORGOUS and Legolas...he WASN'T playing Legolas...

I'm not a Jonny Depp fan at all... it was decent for a Disney movie, I guess... the computer and make up and constumes were good and stuff...

Yeah he made the whole movie. Without him the movie would be crap.

It's a bit like Jurassic Park, Jeff Goldblum was soooo good.
Argh I don't wanna think about The Lost World...
