I wonder what type of drugs the guy who was playing this game took....
The part at the end once he got to the 7th island isn't the great part... how fast he beat the first parts of the game (and that one level on the seventh island) was just sick... his timing is freaking amazing, like he already knew where everything was gonna be at the spped he moved. The fight with Koopa looked like he was stomping a Goomba.
I used to get both of those whistles and still never beat the game in less than a few hours.

Hm I gotta watch that, the other day the movie didn't work. :)
I once beated a level of SMW with my feet! :p
I think it was played on an emulator. There's that one part where it seems like it was reset. Quick saves.

You know... I wouldn't be schocked if you were right.
A lot of the game was passed off of pure luck, and to get that lucky back to back to back is hard to believe. There wasn't even one part where it seemed like he screwed up even a little bit.

Pff that's pathetic. Emulators make things so much easier.... I remember playing PKMN Blue on it, defeating the Elite was a joke with quick saves. :p
Later I bought Red, Gold, Silver. Haven't touched Ruby/Saffire yet.

I agree, but with the quick-save feature it would make beating the game fast easier. Imagine that he used the quick save after every level. He could have attempted to beat a level fast over 100 times and only saved after that one time he beat it in 10 seconds. Then he would move on to the next level, and try hundreds of times to beat it fast, and only save after the one time he did it. The guy has talent, but that doesn't mean this isn't a simple compilation of his best performance on each and every level.

Perhaps you could be a little more specific with your statement. Where does it look like it reset?
By the way, I think he did it all in one setting.
I finished SMB3 in 34 minutes once.....

I choose to believe he did it all in one setting.
Only because its more fun to believe that something like that is possible. :p
