(Vampyr, are you of Scottis/Irish descent?)
Nope.
But if your refering to the Claddagh ring (which Im very sure you are) then your right about it being Irish. I actually think its the traditional Irish wedding ring, if Im not mistaken.
I just want one because I think the legend behind them is very interesting, and I just think its a cool ring.

You should get Alochol 120% (Kazaa is a great place to find it without the $50 fee). Then you won't have to worry about losing the game since you can just image the cd to your hd.

Legend:
The romantic story of the mystical and beautiful Claddagh Ring began way back over 300 years ago in the ancient fishing village of Claddagh just outside the walls of the City of Galway on the west coast of Ireland.
Legend has it that a local man, Richard Joyce, was captured by pirates and sold into slavery, the property of a rich Turkish goldsmith. In time Joyce became a master craftsman himself and, on earning his freedom, returned to Galway and created the legendary Claddagh Ring.
The ring, depicting two hands clutching a heart, complete with a crown, epitomises the expression of lasting love and eternal friendship. The heart symbolises love, the hands friendship and the crown loyalty and fidelity.
Wear this ring on your right hand with the heart facing outwards and the world will know your heart has not yet been won.
Wear it on the right hand with the heart facing inwards and it shows you have friendship and love under consideration.
But worn on your left hand with the heart turned inwards it means two loves have joined forever.

Don't count on Ninja Gaiden.. :P
Anyways, here's my list. And.. I have my birthday list on there because it's so close to Christmas.. so my parents just buy it with the christmas stuff. I debated for a while about 1080, but I eventually gave in, because I'm going to be having a rocking party that day with lots of people over, so another multiplayer game would not hurt at all. And LANned? Awesome.
Oh, and excuse the dummified terminology. My parents and grandparents aren't as "sharp" as they used to be. And.. I really do want those pyjamas.

I like how you added (Gamecube) to MK: DD and 1080.
But my Xmas list this year is kind of slim. I mainly just need clothes and an alarm clock. But the only "big" thing I'm asking for this year is a 9600XT. At least then I will actually be able to play all the newer games fine, rather then using my P.O.S. video card. (Matrox G400 Millenium 32MB...woo......)

I know it is off topic. Just wanted to add a little note about the Claddagh ring. Typically it is worn by those of Irish and Scottish descent. And becaus it is such an old tradition the history has a few different versions. The one that HappyDude posted is very close to the one I know. It has female and male versions. ANd is not necessarily a marriage ring (cause of all the different ways it can be worn). MIne is silver with my birthstone as the heart.

You mean the one I posted, not HappyDude.
Anyway, the one I posted is a men's version, it says so in the url. It looks just like the kind I want: pure silver. But I also think it would be cool have one that had like an Onyx or Ruby heart or something.

I really have no idea what I want for X-Mas this year as usual.
I'm thinking of asking for a portable DVD because it's a 7-hour ride from school to home and vice versa so I need it to waste time.
Any other suggestions?

*cough* GBA SP. It's cheaper, and you can waste a LOT of time. Or do you have one already? I mean, I could plow into Fire Emblem or Advance Wars for 10 hours, easily.
Waste? More like quality time. :P But still, portable DVD players are.. kind of on the expensive side, if you want a good one.
