If I understand your question, it is called asexual.

I'm not sure that means you don't prefer either. I think it means you only like having sex with yourself...
I learned a synonym for bisexual is "ambisexual." It sounds more sophisticated. Ooh.

I don't know, I've been told that asexual was someone who was not interested in sex at all.

Asexual if I remember my biology somewhat create was the ability to reproduce yourself or somewhere close to that not exactly cloning, but not a hermophrodite either.

An Asexual organism is an organism that can reproduce without a mate.
Bacteria are asexual. They use binary fission to break in to two. Fungus and plants are asexual half the time. They switch back and forth between sexual and asexual reproduction.
But asexual doesn't mean you dont like either. You can't choose to be asexual.

so what would the human definition of asexual be? cause it is used quite often to my understanding... and we all know that humans are incapable of reproduction without a mate

GM, that would be a hermaphrodite. Supposedly even some people are born that way.
JS, if anyone uses the term "asexual" to describe or insult someone, then they're ignorant, have a poor sense of vocabulary, are trying to confuse someone, or actually believe the person can mass produce itself (that's right... not him or herself) as if it were some freaky alien.
I think it'd be a larger insult to call someone a hermaphrodite, but that's just me. Someone who would insult another by calling them asexual is like insulting a celebrity by calling them infamous.

They aren't non-sexual, they're sterile.
It's a shame some of the people who frequent this forum aren't sterile... :sneaky:

Oh, and here's the official (or whatever...) definition of asexual, just to make sure we'll all clear and level:
Main Entry: asex·u·al
Pronunciation: (")A-'sek-sh(&-)w&l, -'sek-sh&l
Function: adjective
Date: 1830
1 : lacking sex or functional sex organs <asexual plants>
2 a : involving or reproducing by reproductive processes (as cell division, spore formation, fission, or budding) that do not involve the union of individuals or germ cells <asexual reproduction> <an asexual generation> b : produced by asexual reproduction <asexual spores>
3 : devoid of sexuality <an asexual relationship>
- asex·u·al·i·ty /"A-"sek-sh&-'wa-l&-tE/ noun
- asex·u·al·ly /(")A-'sek-sh(&-)w&-lE, -"sek-sh(&-)lE/ adverb

No creature in the animal kingdon (which includes us Jeepnut's Slave) can be asexual. Animals are strictly sexual. No exceptions. Well...that i know of at least.

well worms produce asexualy as well as star fish and there are other sea creatures that do too.
but it is mostly for simple cell organisms and lower level organisms i think leaches are too.

Worms are hermaphroditic. Perhaps you've been told that, since they can regenerate quite easily, they are asexual (same goes for star fish).

True.
There are bacterium and such, and many plants which are asexual, but no actual animals (or so I recall).

I always thought an asexual person would either be a person who never has and isn't interested in sex or someone who can't have sex. An example of the latter might be a eunuch. I don't really know what the female equivalent might be, though.

Thats almost like being a Necrophiliac...I mean, the person wouldnt be able to move or anything...it would be like doing a dead person. Definatly not on my "to do " list. (Hee hee, pun intended)

I believe rape is without their consent, and so this would probably constitute rape. Like if you drug someone and have sex with them, it's rape. It isn't "against" their consent, so to speak, but rather it's "without" their consent.
I can't believe we're actually having to differentiate between things like that.
And like Vampyr said, they'd be frozen in time and such, so it'd be like doing it with a dead person. Except they'd still be alive and thus warm, so it'd be like doing it with a freshly-dead person.

Ok, fine, first you find someone that will do it with you and then when you're doing it with them you freeze time, so they're already in position and everything, all you have to do is enjoy yourself, no legal business to be worried about.
And then, if there was some way of saving the action to your computer so you could do it in virtual reality with a virtual copy of your partner whever you wanted, would you?

If you find someone who will consent to having sex with you, what exactly is the point of freezing them in time?

Alright tight pants... now this is where the fine line between reality and Diablo II surfaces. Y'see, while your "Dark Paladin" with his two-handed sword and no shield use (oh, you must be a rebel... not using a shield with a paladin) may have 500+ stamina, I'm quite sure that a virgin teen who sits behind a MAC and posts at gaming forums does not have the sexual stamina to pleasure himself with a "mate" to the end of eternity, even if he/she was in stasis. Might I remind you that while your online life does excercise your wrists and fingertips, it does not enhance your pelvic technique nor agility. Then again... you do have three points still in your favor:
1) You'd have all the time you'd need. Stamina really would not be a problem.
2) You said something about virtual reality... which doesn't require physical prowess at all.
3) This is typed at a gaming forum, and therefor will either a) Be delayed several "quarters" like numerous GameCube titles b) Have absolutely no credibility
Hmmm... but still, why frozen in time? Interaction is a key element. Otherwise you'd basically be screwing a can of silly putty. You don't need time freezing capabilities for such feebly erotic pleasures.
And yes, this is the kind of posts I find worthy when on a break! Bwuahahah...
