View Full Version : Taking a Break

Title could've just as easily been "I'm gone for good", cause here, it means the same thing. But, whadda'ya know, the whole break thing might pull a GT and switch its meaning to "gone for good" (don't hold your breath though fellas, it's not likely).

I find myself with too much "free time". Err, that free time is actually an illusion caused by procrastination, I'm sure a lot of you can relate. Anywho, I'll weed out all the things I do in my free time so that I can be productive for once. By productive, I don't necessarily mean working more or doing more homework... I mean stuff like FFXI and other RPGS, heh. Nothing more addictive and therefor deadly on a mental level than a "healthy" social reputation. Whether that makes sense or not, I'm cutting the line here.

This is not a message saying "I'm too good for you", or "I'm too good for this site", rather... "I'm terrible at time management, so I better work on it."

As a show of good faith, I present to you my AIM and MSN screen names (which are in my profile):

AIM: US Trunks SJ
- I block everyone that's not on my buddy list. I'm picky with my AIM, and I don't mind letting people know I don't want to talk to them by keeping them off my buddy list. Rather than being upset if you're not on the list (which I'm sure some of the members here would just laugh at the thought), be proud if you're on it.

MSN: Cowsai@hotmail.com
- Pretty much all is welcome. I'll listen to anybody on it and talk about whatever the conversations lead themselves to be. However, being off of Gametavern will mean that I will be online much less often. Realize, also, that this is my e-mail account. Don't forward your crap to me, no matter how enlightening you think it is. If it's instructions on how to save yourself in next weeks apocalypse, don't even think about it, I don't care if I die as long as I don't get a forward. And to all you people who want to be little vigilantes and feel it'd be cool to overflow my address for a little "revenge", go ahead and sign me up for subscribtions, Neopets, and Narcicistic Necropheliac Homosexual online clubs... odds are I probably already have low respect for someone who would do that in the first place, so it wouldn't "hurt". Plus, I already get 99.9% junk mail, making a mass deletion easy as p-i-e.

I'll probably be on now and then for whimsicle banter, and might even be back full swing in a couple of months, but until then... *tries to regain train of thought* Ah, enjoy the Phantom.

Adios good amigos,

Does GT really consume that much of peoples time? Guess it does.

Well, good luck with whatever, and have fun wasting your time on things other than GT. =-D

I'll no doubt see you on AIM, so this isnt really like a "farewell", more like a "see you later, but not on here."

But I will say that your signiture is a terrible loss. It was no doubt the coolest one on this site, and now that you are leaving so does the cool sig. :distress:

How 'bout this, I'll make posts just often enough to keep my sig alive, heh.

Sorry to see you go...or come here less.

I'm sorry the last time we really talked to eachother was an argument in the candy bar thread. I wasn't sure how long you were pissed at me for. I hope to see you on msn and come back every so often so we don't forget about you.

They always come back. Really, they do. Just look at Justin. He's about as active as he's ever been.

In fact, I could probably get him to reply to this topic right now.

GOD DOESN'T EXIST!

There, that ought to do the trick. :p

Anyway, see you around Random_Perfection. Hope you have better luck fighting procrastination.

No sweat, and see ya around.

And yes, I will be back sooner or later for a regular amount of time. Until then, I just won't be nearly as regularly active, that is all.

i didn't read anything in this thread except for rndm's first sentence, so i'll say this...

he'll be back...they always come back. (well, almost)

Well, he isnt exactly leaving, he is just cutting back a whole lot. And he also says that he *will* be back, he just doesnt know when.

Thats what is says in the parts other than the first sentance. :p

Alright, Happy's post just let me know that people must not be reading the first sentence from the right angle O_o.

Title could've just as easily been "I'm gone for good", cause here, it means the same thing.

Had I called this post "I'm gone for good," it'd still mean I'm coming back, as demonstrated by every member who has "left". *shrugs* I haven't gotten the impression that people who take breaks never come back. Perhaps there was a way I could have better worded it. But yes, I won't be "gone", just taking a break. *looks around*.

Well.. since I'm a quick reader and typer, I'm usually done with GT in less than ten minutes every day. It's not really noticeable how much time is lost.. :p

Well, enjoy your time off.
