So yeah, I was driving back to campus last night, when I saw something in the middle of the road. I slammed on my brakes, and there was racoon...starting at me (well staring at my headlights really).
Damn racoons...hmmm, speaking of racoons, whatever happened to Vin?
oh well, but yeah, have you, or have you been in the car, when anyone has created ROADKILL?

I don't think we have racoons here in Aus.
If I saw one, I'd probably just look at it and wonder why it's here in Aus

My dog Connor killed a 20 pound raccoon a couple months ago in my back yard. He came out with one good gash and a few various scratches. He was hurting but victorious.

My dad once hit this REALLY large bird...could have been a turkey vulture or something, it came out of a ditch to our right and right off of the corner of our windshield. *THUMP*. Left some nasty blood/tissue on our van, too.

That happened to me once. I was riding with my mom and dad in a jeep cherokee, and my dad was driving. All of a sudden this turkery flies out of nowwhere from the right side of the road. It managed to get almost all the way across the Jeep, but then it got nailed by the top left corner of the windshield. I looked back and saw it flopping in the road... :distress:
Poor thing.

yeah...sounds almost exactly like my situation. only this thing was bigger than a turkey...I mentioned 'turkey vulture' cause I think those are bigger than turkeys...it was like a large pelican almost. I dunno...the thing was huge, though...and it fell HARD.
I feel bad when I see animals on the ground twitching around...cause like, they're just gonna suffer and probaby get run over again. I wish they just had died, for their own good...

I've almost hit a couple squirrels, and deer have run in front of my car countless times, but I've still yet to hit any animals.

I've never hit anything or even come close. But I did shoot a dear that got hit. I felt bad so I pulled over durning a move and shot it. It died briefly after that :)

I ran over a 5 year old.
oh man...i shoulda been there!
Lol, reminds me of the time I ran over a cat. We were driving in this small neighbourhood, and this cat dashes out of nowhere in front of us. We ran right over him with our tire. We immediatly pulled to the side of the road. When we looked back, it got up and shook, and walked away like it was nothing.
Nine lives.. I swear.

i hate raccoons but last week i had the chance to actually make one road kill but i decided not to.... for it was big and fat and probably would've dented something, now if i had my parents grand vitara suzuki, i would've four wheeled its ass to HELL!!! hehehe...and then the week before las i had an excellent chance to gain 7 turkeys for thanksgiving dinner. but i decided not to hit all these damn birds because they were big and fat :( and there were cars behind me, and i couldnt have gone back yo get the bodies to eat em

Well ~VIN~ did not leave just to keep post count at 5000. I know as a fact that he has gone down to shake off a racoon that has been keeping his trails for years. ~VIN~ now tries to find a "way" racoons can't get in..... or so I think.

Oh god, I ran over a raccoon once, it was a big mother. It actually got jammed in my tire well, and I dragged it along for about 20 feet before it finally dislodged. That was quite disturbing.
I remember our car running over a squirrel once. I was 6 or 7 at the time. It was sad...
And a few weeks ago, I saw a dead cat. It's head was missing, it's guts were all over the road, and it's ribs were whole. Disgusting...
