That Britney Spears smokes! Im surprised I havent heard about this before...I learned of this tonight while watching her interview with diane sawyers(which can be halarious, because she tries to dodge questions, but she's not good at doging questions, and makes herself look damn stupid) But yea she was like "I try to cut down during tours and stuff" or something to that effect...but she didnt say she was trying to quit or anything...maybe you all knew this, but it kinda shocked me...

Yeah... when she started she was like "I'm a good Christian girl.. not like that skanky Christina Agulara... " oh the irony of life

I've known that she smokes and drinks ever since it was said she did. But hey, its her choice to do those things. People are shocked mainly just because of basically what Kitana said about britnety..goes from "I'm a good Christian girl" to "I can do what I want"

I am pretty surprised by this. But then again, there are many things about her that we still have yet to know.

Lost Virginity first, Smoking now, Playboy next year....

Supposedly she likes smoking in the studios while recording songs...dunno if she's a chain smoker or not.

And how is she skanky and non-Christian because she's smoked?

And when did she ever say "I'm a good Christian girl...not like that skanky Christina Aguilera"?

I'm not for smoking or anything...but I think that Britney takes WAY too much heat from a lot of people.

She wears REVEALING clothing and dances certain ways and people are calling her a slut and all that. I'm sorry, but last I checked there were thousands of strippers, prostitutes and porn stars that would fall under that category way before she would. And she lost her virginity?!! BURN HER!!! And as for the 'influence' she has on children, how is that her fault? If someone's a 10 year old Nicole Kidman fan, they don't have to go watch 'Eyes Wide Shut'.

Britney will start sagging? Ha, not a chance! She's rich out of her mind; All the plastic surgery in the world is right at her fingertips.

Good. Smoking keeps girls skinny. If they ate instead of smoking, they would get fat.

Smoking + hot chicks = Skinny hot chicks

No, Smoking + hot chicks= skinny ugly chicks with bad breath, wrinkly skin, blah blah blah...whatever else goes with smoking...but as pure evil said, she'll be able to dodge a lot of that stuff with plastic surgery, makeup, and the like.

That's gradual though. Well, the bad breath part isn't gradual, but the ugly and wrinkly-ness stuff takes time. So, when hot chicks first start smoking, they stay hot and skinny for the first couple years (Maybe like 7 or 10 or something) and then the wrinkles set in. But wrinkles take time to get real bad, and they aren't as obvious as fatness.

I'd rather be around a chick with a few wrinkles than a chick with hundreds of unnecessary pounds hanging off her bones.

Fat chicks are gross. Wrinkly chicks are kinda gross as well, but it's certainly the lesser of two evils.

Oh! And they die sooner so you don't have to put up with their f*cking nagging for as long!

I agree. It's a turn off for me also. I hate going near anyone who smokes, they start smelling like ****, IMO.

Ditto also about smoking is a turn-off. I hate the smell, it dries my eyes pretty easily, and I just don't like a smoker in general.

If you guys can't handle the smoke, how the hell are you gonna chill at bars when your older?

yeah...people will have to get used to smoke, cause there are so many smokers out there...and it gets worse in confined spaces like bars...

some doesn't bother me in the slightest...but I would be pissed if a family member smoked cause I'd be sucking in smoke constantly.

and btw...does anyone here smoke? My dad and I have a tradition of smoking cigars and drinking beer after each Colts win...but that's just 7 cigars this year (and counting, I'm sure :p)

Well, smoking in bars has been banned in Delaware and New York and probably many more states, though those are two that I know of. I was very very happy when they banned smoking in bars in delaware, no more ****ed up eyes and such.

Smoking is a huge turn-off for me as well.

And I'll be going off to college in a couple of years, to the University of Kentucky, which is located in Lexington, KY, and I believe that it is supposed to become smoke free in the near future...which would mean no smokey bars for me.

My feelings exactly. And it's kinda of gross to kiss girls who smoke, as they taste sort of... smokey. But hey, if they're hot, and if they brush their teeth and use mouthwash, who's to complain?
