I was wondering if anyone here participates in the huge online community known as Live Journal? Live Journal is basically an online journal that you make entries in, and then other people can read them and comment on them.

Im wanting to join the live journal community, but in order to join, you have to have a certain "code." There are two ways to get this code: 1) Purchase or 2) A friend who is already a member gives you a code.

I certainly dont want to buy one, and so I'm wondering if there is anyone here who uses Live Journal and wouldnt mind giving me an access code so that I can start my own journal.

Also, you guys can use this thread to add people to your "friends" list on Live Journal.

I doubt many people besides the couple I already know of have it...

I have it, but I don't have a code... So nyeh...

So then how did you two get access to LiveJournal?

:hm:

Lies! There are lies in the air!

Someone else gave them a code to register. And there's always a free journal thing at xanga.com

Someone gives you a code, then in a week, you can generate a code for someone else. Sadly, this only works once.

Meh, blogger.com is the best. :drevil:

Blogger.com is horrible. The actual posting software stuff is crap. When I did it, it would constantly end up not posting my post.

Xanga.com is much better. Its free (unless you go Premium...) unlike Live Journal, with or without some code. Its pretty reliable and you get a lot of freedom with how your actual site looks and stuff. Pretty neat.

No, no, no :nono:

Blogger.com has much improved since it's debut nearly three years ago.

All the software is of the utmost quality and is compatible with all computers. Blogger allows troubled teens to express themselves freely with personalization in their most comfortable arena, the internet. And why do teens choose blogger.com over hanging out at the mall and eating pizza? Because Blogger.com is absolutley free! Yes, you heard correct, absolutley free!

Blogger.com Because we care.

If you could find someone who has a paid account, they are able to generate a ton of codes... So if you're nice enough maybe they would give you one...

Yeah.... I was using Blogger only earlier this year and it sucked. And you get all that free jazz and personalization with Xanga with a much easier interface IMO. Blogger is a waste of webbing fluid (get it? World Wide Web...Webbing fluid.....I thought it was funny...).

You had to have used it today before I'll even take your comment into consideration.

And because the internet is an infinite, unstoppable force...there's no way it can be wasted.

If it was a limited supply like trees, that would be a different story.
