Just to revive the forum a bit:
In what order do you like the Zelda games?
Mine:
9. The Wind Waker
8. The Adventure of Link
7. The Legend of Zelda
6. Links Awakening
5. Oracle of Seasons
4. Oracle of Ages
3. A Link to the Past
2. Ocarina of Time
1. Majora's Mask
I haven't played 4 Swords yet, but I don't think it will be very high in my list.
I really really don't like The Wind Waker. :Puke: Annoying graphics, annoying gameplay, annoying texts that you can't scroll away, boring puzzles... stupid story.
OoT beats MM just because of.... the story with Zelda and Gannon in it. Wait wait no, Majora's Mask is better, because of the dark mood and all the stuff beside the dungeons.
Your list? :)

A link to the past is 1
OoT 2
LoZ 3
Everything else is good, but those three are tops.

Oracle of Ages and Seasons is tied for 1 but the worst game is the original.
I wouldn't number them.. on a one to ten scale, they're all above ten... :p
Except for Link's Adventure. It wasn't as good as the others. The Oracles are awesome; I still play them. Ocarina of Time was an awesome epic. Majora's Mask was a great psycological thriller. Wind Waker was very artistic. Link's Awakening was a great side-game. LTTP is amazing in every aspect. But.. Link's Adventure was kind of.. off. But still kind of good.
And we can't forget the CD-i Zeldas. Ugh.

8) The Adventure of Link
7) Majora's Mask
6) Wind Waker
5) Links Awakening
4) The Legend of Zelda
3) The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons
2) The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages (better than Seasons. Much better)
1) Ocarina of Time (best. game. ever.)
Im not saying that "The Adventure of Link" wasnt good, because it was. I really liked it, but it was just the worst of the best. I havnt played "A Link to the Past", but I here it was really awesome, and most people claim it to be the best. I will eventually get it for the GBA.
I will point out that it was a hard decision on whether to put "The Legend of Zelda" ahead of Links Awakening or not. I really loved the original. NYgiant is insane. The original rocked so much.

I second that.
1. Zelda: Ocarina of Time
2. Zelda Bonus Disk (Gamecube)
3. Ocarina of Time Import
4. Ocarina of Time Manual
...Ok, seriously...
1. Ocarina of Time
2. Majora's Mask
3. A Link to the Past
4. Wind Waker
4. Zelda 1
5. Zelda 2
6. Link's Awakening
7. Both Oracles
I really, really love OoT.

1. Majora's Mask
MM
2. Majora's Mask
2. Majora's Mask
How in the world is this possible? Majora's Mask is doing awfully well. Why? I do not think that it was that great at all. A mere shadow when compared to most of the other Zelda games.

What?! That was a great game! Especially with Diety Link. HE was bad-fudgin'-ass

I dont know. I just thought it was boring and tedious.
I hated the time... The clock pissed me off and almost made me dislike the game, but after beating it, I realized it's a very awesome game. Playing as a Deku, Goron, and a Zora is awesome... Oh yeah, and Diety Link, that's very awesome...
But still, that game was awesome, but the time blows in my opinion.

I'll just number the one's ive played, and wont include the others. In order.
1. Ocarina of Time--Quite simply, the greatest game ever made, and the crowning achivement of videogames still to this day
2. Link's Awakening--Something about this game just makes me like it...
3. Zelda--The classic. What more is there to say?
4. Wind Waker--Turned out great, even after all the controversy
5. Majora's mask--just didnt care for this near as much as OOT
6. Oracle of Seasons
7. A link to the past.

I dont know. I just thought it was boring and tedious.
When I first read about the time feature in previews and such, it really pissed me off, I thought it would ruin the game for me...But the more I played it the cooler the whole idea became. The environment and mood of the game pushed it over Oot for second place for me. But since nothing can beat the best 2D Zelda, unless a new one is made for GBA, Link to the Past reigns supreme for now.

I thought the time thing was neat. I was going through a super "NPCs actually have lives outside of what you do to them!" thing (I was playing a lot of Shenmue and Harvest Moon and the then Japan only Animal Forest really interested me) so that probably added to my enjoyment of Majora's Mask.
And Oni Link is just awesome. They need to add the beam thing back to the Master Sword (take the power down a few notches maybe...).

Hm well I gotta say that Oracles had cool puzzles. The story was nice... euh and the combination of the games was awesome :D.
Oh, the trailer was good too. :p

I agree that the Oracle games were very good. I loved them quit a bit.
Whats makes them so special is the password system. Also, being able to choose an animal companion made it awesome, and I LOVED collecting all the cool rings.
I thought it was amazing how you could interact with the characters. For example, being able to name that couples kid.
I also believe that it had a VERY interesting story line that suited the Zelda series very well.

I ranked the one's I have played. The only reason The Adventure of Link is so low on the list is because I haven't played it in a really long time and I can't remember how it compares. I was also a little kid at the time so I don't know how I can rank it with the others.
8. Majora's Mask
7. The Adventure of Link
6. Oracle of Ages
5. Oracle of Seasons
4. Ocarina of Time
3. Wind Waker
2. The Legend of Zelda
1. A Link to the Past

These are the ones I've played. I never have liked the Adventure of Link, and that caused me to not get more than 15 minutes into the game. So this might be a bit harsh.
9. The Adventure of Link
8. Oracle of Ages
7. Oracle of Seasons
6. Majora's Mask
5. The Legend of Zelda
4. Ocarina of Time
3. Wind Waker
2. Link's Awakening
1. A Link to the Past (Four Swords)

Hm... very funy how the opinions are so different... You'd expect MM to be next to OoT.. because they look like eachother. :) And some people actually like TWW better than OoT.
One hates Oracles, the other loves them. Same with Link's Awakening. :)

Dear dear Gimpy... Please. For your own salvation.

As for not liking the Oracle games.
I liked them lots. More than most other games. But they were low on my list as far as Zelda games go...

----Most other games (middle=good)
----Adventure of Link (low=blarg I am dead)

See now, I really should have put a tie for those two. I did really enjoy Link's Awakening DX as much as aLttP.
About 5 years ago my kid brother lost my Gameboy Color and Link's Awakening DX at a local fair. So it's been a while since I've played it.

That's funny, 5 years a go I found a brand new GBC with Zelda DX. At a fair. :)
But anyway, I'm really looking forward to the Zelda disc, that will be my chance to finally beat Zelda 1 and 2. :D
Hehe, all Zelda games can be played on the GameCube soon...

GameBoy Player. You can play LttP, LA (DX), OoA, and OoS using the GBP. Although they're not on a GCN disc, you can still play them using the GCN.
