I posted this in Gamecube because obviously it's Mario Kart and this is the only review I saw of this month's issue.

Effing awesome! Can't wait!

Mario Kart: Double Dash!!: 10 - 10 - 9.5 / Gold Award and Game of the Month.

Let's hope it's GOTY material. =D Looks like it so far.

Honestly, when stuff comes out of Nintendo internally (EAD and whatever other ones), is it ever anything less than extroadinary? This is why Nintendo is the best and will always be the best.

when will mario kart be released?

Take a gander at my sig;)

But on the rating, good job for Nintendo. It might be GOTY material for racing games. And since I was anticipating this game in the first place, now I can't wait.

*wonders what each reviewer said about the game and how fun the LAN is*

Independently of what reviews say I'm getting this game. I just love the MK series and know I'll like this game. I can hardly wait. It's been long since I've had a dose of Mario Kart. Tis is gonna be good!

Well Stu, have you? Let's not judge a book we haven't read you poor, poor kid.

no, I'm quite sure we can judge that one

The point is that it's not from EAD or R&D1 or anything... but like I said, Doshin the Giant was.
C-E also has a review up, but they don't actually have the game yet, just played it at Nintendo HQ.
They gave it a 9.0 but I don't believe they know the difference between a 9.0 and a 9.5 game. They gave RS3:RS a 9.1, better than Mario Kart?!?! Come on...

Ehm is it true that MK is released in Europe earlier than in the US? :D

No, earlier than Japan, though. :)

Actually yes for some strange reason, Mario Kart is coming out in Europe before the Staes, I think the difference is only 3 days, but still.

Odd....

Good news for Europeans then.

Well Stu, have you? Let's not judge a book we haven't read you poor, poor kid.
Have you played Mario Kart Double Dash? Has Jason1? Have any of you people who are praising this game as if it were the next Messiah, played it?

You are judging this game the exact same way Stu is judging Kirby's Air Ride: through impressions of screens and movies and from review scores.

Nothing bad has ever come out of Nintendo internally? Have you ever heard of a game called Luigi's Mansion? Nintendo has the ability to make mistakes just like every other company, and they've done so numerous times.

Yes I have... What's your point? I enjoyed Luigi's Mansion entirely. Look, everybody might be a bit premature in saying how cool or not cool the game's going to be. And that's OK. No need to harp on people because they think the game's gonna be the 5\/x0rS!!! or the Massiah.

Stu probably will enjoy the game just fine. It's a proven franchise and other people seem to like it a lot. But I really don't see anybody on here saying that it is that good. I see a lot of "anticipating", and "might be", and "I can't waits".

I'm not saying the game won't be great, or that there's a problem with people anticipating it. Hypocrisy, on the other hand, I do have a problem with. Stu said a game is bad, people bad mouth him for doing so on account of the fact that he hasn't played it, yet they themselves use the same form of judgement on Mario Kart.

No, no, no :nono:

I simply asked Stu a question, I never stated anything about Mario Kart: Double Dash.

Details my friend, details.

I thought the point was that Kirby Air Ride wasn't developed by Nintendo internally... so it's all a storm in a glass of water people. :)

I don't think anybody here wants to state that Kirby AR beats Mario Kart DD. :)

lol...I stir up a 'fuss' by posting a stupid little picture.

and I got a -rep for posting my age as 11 1/2...because I'm a 'liar'. WTF is wrong with you people...calm down. Kirby's Air Ride might be fun (although I doubt it)...whatever. It was a joke.

Whoever -repped you is a moron. :)

PS: It wasn't me who did it.

Also, Mario Kart got a 9.5 from this other magazine. Awesome!

What is it that the bonus disc you get when you preorder MK:DD has? Which games and stuff? Anybody knows? I remember seeing a list but I forgot and don't remember where it was that I saw it.

I don't think its a preview. I think its content you only(maybe) get for Fire Emblem.
