XIII GCN Not Online, But Split-Screen

While Ubisoft will take the Xbox, PS2, and PC versions of XIII online, GameCube will have up to four-player split-screen. The other console versions will have exclusive multiplayer modes like 'Sabotage' and 'Power Up' in addition to the standard ones. The GameCube will have four offline multiplayer modes including Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, and Hunt. The PC will support the most players per map with eight, the Xbox Live and PS2 will have four each.

Im very dissapointed, this could have been great online. Arhhhh why cant they put it online.

* walks away and weeps *

Ahwell at least i can still have split screen multi with my mates, BTW does anyone know how many bots you can have on it?

Oh well....Next gen. hopefully brings more fulfilling news.

Ubi Soft doesn't know Nintendo's plans well enough to bring it online. Does Ubi Soft do it themselves, or is Nintendo still working on some kind of LAN/Tunneling. LAN play would be good for a game like this, but oh well...companies decision:p

They should do it anyway. Take up a part of the cubes market that isnt dominated by Nintendo games.
