View Full Version : Bond @ Lambeau Field X2!
That's right! I am going to Lambeau Field tomorrow for the Vikings game! The first regular season game in newly renovated Lambeau Field. Skybox seats too.
I'm also going to the last game of the season against the Broncos. I'm not sure where my seats are for that game. Both games should be a blast.
Are you ready for some football?
P.S. Vikings suck.

I am definetly ready for some football...It would be amazing to go to the first Eagles game at the Linc, Monday night against the Bucs, but there's now way to get tickets for that unless I wanna pay $400 on ebay. I'm a bit concerned after Burgess went down for the season yesterday....that leaves us with just a couple DE's for right now with McDougle hurt already. :distress: But I think the Eagles will win anyway.

I wish I could go to the Monday Night game at teh Linc too, but it is practically impossible now without paying a lot of money. I've been to the field twice though and it's awesome. The first time was when they had the open house, and the second was the Villanova vs. Temple game yesterday. The place was only half-filled and it sounded extremely loud, you should see how close everything is to the field. Tomorrow night's game will be awesome, and so loud, I wish I could go. I hope the Eagles make it to the Super Bowl this year, but I won't keep my hopes up, because if they don't make it, I won't be entirely shocked as I was last year.
I guess after all the games tonight someone will have made an NFL thread with who won and all, so I'll just wait to post any opinions I have on some of the matchups from today.
God damnit. Packers lost 25-30. It was a great game... horrible officiating and both Driver and Ferguson down with injures. Driver may be seriously injured. Oh yeah, Hovan did absolutely nothing. Nice self-promotion job there Hovan.
The skybox seats are quite nice though.

Well I guess that sucks for you then Bond. Did you see that Houston beat Miami, 21-20..I wasn't expecting that, I thought Miami would be good this year. But then again, it's only the first game, we can't really tell who good teams are untill about halfway through the season.
Yeah, that was quite surprising.
The Texans are a very good team for only 2 years in the NFL though.

Oh my lord did the Packers get owned today.
5 points doesn't nearly tell the whole story.
Unfortunatly, the bears are getting hammered too.
But!
Cubs 9
Brewers 2
Thanks for your concern for Donald Driver Stonecutter. :(
I swear though, the officials were really awful today. I normally don't complain, but they blew at least five calls. And there were a few times they stopped the clock for no apparent reason and gave no explanation.
Oh yeah, Ahman Green drives one sweet car. It has this awesome Batman logo on the grill.
And what's with this new NFL rule that doesn't allow a rekick with less than five minutes left? That's pretty screwed up.

p0wned baby!!!! Steelers all the way!
For anyone who cares about Donald Driver:
The injury to Packers wide receiver Donald Driver during today's Vikings game has been diagnosed as a "neck strain," Head Trainer Pepper Burruss reports. All X-rays and scans done this afternoon at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay were normal, according to Burruss.
Driver will be kept in the hospital overnight, and will be further evaluated Monday morning.
According to Burruss, utilizing the highest level of precaution Driver was taken to the hospital for further tests due to the high level of pain he was describing on the field. But Driver never experienced paralysis and did not lose consciousness, Burruss said.
Moving forward, Driver's playing status is "week to week," according to Packers Team Physician Dr. Patrick McKenzie.
No word on Ferguson yet.

-Favre
-Manning
-Warner
-Brady
Oh well...at least Manning's team won :D :p

I am concerned about driver, I actually like him, despite his noted cheese-headedness.
But the no rekick rule is great. Being able to kick again after you screwed up was bogus. Why should you get another chance. The only thing that rule did was keep TV sets on an extra 30 seconds in some games. I agree it takes away some excitement, but it makes for a much better game.

Warner looked PATHETIC...That was one of the most ridiculous things I've seen. The guy can't hold a football. For half of his fumbles he didn't even get touched and just dropped it. I dunno what it is, but he looked confused out there.

Heh, here's the thing.
Warner was Concussed.
Martz did nothing.
Dispite the fact that he admited that he couldn't figure out why waner couldn't understand the plays that were being called in the second half.
Just left him in there, you'd think not being able to understand the plays and 5 fumbles would tell you something, but no.

I have proposed multiple trades at the fantasy football game site...
Even though I would have made the trades before week 1... after seeing my drafted team in action methinks we need an update
