What's Soul Caliber? I have a friend who's really excited about it, but he won't tell me what it is. When I asked him what it was, he just stared at me in shock and disbelief. He still won't tell me, he says I don't deserve to know.

Soul Calibur is one of the best fighting games ever created. It first appeared on the Sega Dreamcast. Now, the sequel, has been released on all three consoles (GCN, PS2, Xbox). If you like fighting games then it is somethign to look into.

Fighting game eh. Well that's kinda what I expected. The 3 second blip of a comercial I saw had two guys punching each other, so one can only assume. I also heard it had Link in it and that people were upset about it. Is that true?

The GCN version has Link in it. The PS2 and Xbox versions do not.

that link has info on soul cal 2 for gamecube I have it for xbox and it is a good game, ff IV is just a wee bit better.

I'm not a fan of fighting games, but I did enjoy SC and the demo of SC2. I doubt I'd like it better than VF4, though...
The GCN version has Link in it. The PS2 and Xbox versions do not.
The PS2 version has the Tekken guy... GCN and Xbox Dont.
The Xbox version has Spawn...... GCN and PS2 dont.
does it truely matter tho? all 3 of the exclusive guys suck. none of them really fit in with the game. i'd of rather them made up thier own characters to fit the game instead of trying to make odd ones fit.

I usually like fighting games but Budakai was a big let down. Now I'm kind of reluctant to try a new one until I know every thing about it, and thanks Hero2, I'll check that out.

I usually like fighting games but Budakai was a big let down. Now I'm kind of reluctant to try a new one...
:lol: Surprise, Surprise. What's funny is... though, the game (DBZ) was better than I had expected it to be.

Okay, I've covered Kingdom Hearts, Soul Caliber 2, and Budakai, now it's time for Final Fantasy. Hero2 might put a hit on me for saying this, but what's so great about Final Fantasy anyway. I mean, I played it once before, the graphics looked pretty cheap and it got boring really fast. Then again it might just be the one I played, but I'll never know which one that is since there's 80 million of them.

Well, Final Fantasy just happens to be the most popular RPG series ever (at least on this side of the planet). Although, it isn't the best series, but fairly good overall, some of it's games are just a bit too overrated, though.

It's already out? Man am I way behind the times. Well I haven't spoken to to my little obsessed friend in a while so odds are that he already has it and beaten in every way possible. Maybe I should check it out. Do you think it's rent worthy?

you have to play it the begining is boring but its just an intro all intros are kind of boring but once you get into the heart of the story. then its fun. in 7 it happens reight after cloud gets in the dress. but its not for everyone ive never met a girl that likes final fantacy games so dont fell bad.

Serious? All the girls I know love Final Fantasy games. The RPG's are a long winded love story after all.

well... the closest link i can think of is they both fight people that and FFVII is god so it fits in any conversation just like the simpsons.

Hey I like RPG games, in fact those are my favorite. Plus I like all types of games. I love all my games, oh except for one, Shinobi, what a horid game. If anyone has ever played it they have to agree with me. All you do is walk around a city, violently killing anything you see along the way. I mean you kill a helicopter, that's just too stupid for me. Plus I don't know if I hate all final fantasies, just the boring one I played. Which one do you think is the best? By the way, my address is 123 Fake Street. :P

I went to go rent Soul Calibur II at Blockbuster the other day in Fountain Valley and Colton, and both of them were completely sold out for playstation 2. They had a couple for Game Cube, but unfortunately I don't own one as of yet.
