and yelling or putting something your way.

Does anyone enjoy the Christians on the street handing out flyers, preaching out loud to nobody in particular, and all those other things that you think you just don't have the time for? Ever actually listen to them closely or just nod your head 'yes', only to throw away their stuff or disregard whatever they've just told you?

Not much of that here in Bakersfield... but I have seen it before.

One thing I don't like is when Jehovah's Witnesses come to my door trying to tell me somthing. I listen to them closely and give them a chance, then I break them down with my knowlege...

jk... but that's somthing my Uncle does ;)

I just think it's a pure annoyance, and it's even worse when I'm doing somthing... like homework, or laying on my ass, things they shouldn't interrupt.

But I'm not mad at them, they are if anything a good example for what people should be doing...

One time they did the most shamelesss thing ever... sent a child up to do thier dirty work

It was a 5 year old little girl... of course the parents were standing back looking and listening, but I think that's just wrong. I mean, who really is a big enough ass not to give in to that? Big cheap shot

Out side NY Penn station, there is this crazy guy in a tallis (Jewish prayer shawl) screaming that Jesus is Lord and that you must repent.
It's really funny, in a sad sort way

Yeah, one of the greatest things about living in NY. Take mass transit everyday, meet them at least once, even higher in Manhattan.

But you see most of them belive they're doing the right thing from Romans 10:13-15, how will people have believe in what they've never heard?

Actually, it's pretty cool to listen to what they say. Because it makes sense to them and gets them through their day.

Know why they sent that child? Because if it works, it works. By any means necessary.

Only once?

I'll be damned if I didn't see at least 3 a week, but it no longer only deals with religion. I saw some for charities and well budding artist, even a man who wrote a book, but eh. It is something I miss here in the boondocks.

I don't mind people handing out flyers for their Religion or beliefs... as long as they don't try to force their beliefs on me.

And Jason... that was hilarious. +rep

I have two funny jahova witness stories.

1. It was 9:00 a.m. on a saturday morning. i was sleeping. Door bell rings. It's two jahova's witnesses. They say: Do you believe in the word of Jesus Christ; our lord and saviour. I say: Of course i do. I am Him.

They look at eachother and walk away.

2. Saturday morning again. I had slept over at my friend's house. I was the first person to wake up in the morning. Knock knock knock. JWs at the door. It's a guy with a little girl. They say they're trying to make people aware of drug abuse in our neighbourhood. So they give me a pamphlet and underneath it is a JW pamphlet. That was sneaky. They won that round.

And one time a guy game to may house selling potatoes at 9 in the morning on a Saturday. Bastard.
