What do you guys think about this? I think this is insane... they better start lowering the prices on those PPVs or they are going to lose thier paying fans.

I guess HHH/Goldberg is a big enough match to stir up intrest... but damn, just syay together :(

at WM the Raw champ should fight the SD champ for the belt to build up hype... but for some reason I think thye are going to be "fair" and let the WM main event be the Raw Main event because SD had it last year.

That is the WWE's plan. They are going to only have the "Big 4" be combined events with both Raw and Smackdown. The rest of the shows will be Raw or SD specific. If you'll notice, even the announcers and wrestlers are referring to each show as separate PROMOTIONS, not just separate shows.

I agree, it sucks, and thats one of the reasons why I don't watch Raw at all anymore and I only watch SD occasionally. WM was the last PPV I ordered.

On the bright side I still have Ring of Honor :D I'm going to the 9/20 show in Philly, which is looking to be awesome with the addition of CM Punk versus the debuting TERRY FUNK. Yes, the Funker is in ROH!!!

Meh, it doesn't really bother me. Raw is what ruins a Pay Per View anyways, so what does it matter? ;) Look at Summer Slam, the worst matches came from the Raw Brand. I'll only be ordering the 4 Pay Per Views that consist of both Pay Per Views from my actual house.

I pay $10 Canadian to see PPV's on a big threatre-sized screen so the price isn't a factor for me, but the fact that the PPV will most likely suck is what I don't like. I can't wait for Goldberg to become champion...

What do yo guys think was better, the last Raw brand PPV or the last SD brand one?

I hink Recvxzero may be right... with the exception of WM, where Smackdown wasn't even close to Raw in quality matches. (The three way tag and Brock vs Angle were the two bigest snoozers of the night, HHH vs Booker was a snoozer too, if it wasnt forth conersaon King and JR were having, sad)

I'm still a bigger fan of the Raw brand because...um, well I'm simply more entertained by it. No excuses needed.

I think Vengeance (SD's PPV) was in a completely different league than Raw's Bad Blood. Bad Blood was pretty much 2 hours of complete crap (especially the Bischoff/Austin redneck triathlon thing, that was just so predictable/horrible it went beyond what I thought WWE could do) along with Jericho carrying Goldberg to his best WWE match and a suprisingly watchable main event. Michaels/Flair was alright too...

Vengeance on the other hand started off with an AWESOME Eddie/Benoit match, and soon after that an amazing Shelton/Haas vs Rey/Kidman tag match. I thought Cena/Taker was a damn great brawl too, and a very good triple threat between Big Show, Brock, and Kurt with a suprising (for me at least) ending. There was the usual McMahonamania running wild and the bar room brawl, but overall a pretty good PPV and it put Bad Blood to shame.

And it doesn't look like Unforgiven will be that great. :distress:

I thought Vengeance was leaps and bounds better than Badd Blood, heck if you were to compare PPVs since the brand extension with probably one or two events, I think SmackDown also carried the bulk of the show.

Such as SummerSlam as I felt the Angle/Lesnaer match was leaps and bounds better than the Raw World Title match and that featured 6 people...

Thus far, it looks like both brand exclusive PPV will be filled with gimmicky stuff such as JR/Coach.

I have changed my outlook on this PPV... it seems to be good, the first time sense WM where I seriously want to order.

=-D And coincidentally there isn't one thing that I'm looking forward to at all on this PPV.
