My interest in Unreal Tournament 2004, and Unreal 2 XMP, are so high that i have not much room for interest in other games.

This one looks good, But once thoes 2 games come out, im not going to have much time for anything else.

When is 2004 coming out? I skipped UT2003 but since UT2004 has all the maps and plus I think it's going to warrant my purchase.

not sure yet. rumored the Demo might come out this month. Full game comes out most likely in November.


but yes, 2004 is miles ahead of 2003. They said they tried to go back to the original UT roots and model 2k4 after that one a little more. They redid all the code, runs better, they say it will run on more machines, and smoother then 2k3, Netcode is like 40% better. Over 90 New maps, including All of 2003's maps. 2004 has 2003 in it actually so 2k4 users can play on 2k3 servers. (not the other way around tho).

Brought back the Assult mode. And the one im most interested in... Onslaught, Widescale outdoor combat with vehicles =D woot! they said best described as BattleField 2042 (but goals are slightly differnt).

Combine that with the Free Unreal 2 expansion multiplayer (Class based wide scale combat) And tis going to be a very unreal holliday season :)

speaking of Demos...... Homeworld 2 demo is out.

i'll download that this weekend to see what SC likes so much about it. :p
