Hey yall!!! I just started my freshman year of college at York College of Pa, which is about an hour from Baltimore. It's great so far, but I was wondering, where do/did you or your siblings friends etc go (for those of you out of high school) or what college alternitive, such as entering the military?

My sister has been going to Penn State for the past two years, but not at the main campus. She has been going to a local Campus. Today she just left for the main campus, and she'll be a Junior. Damn I'm so happy that she's gone, things will be a lot less stressful around here.
My sister left on Tuesday for her 3rd year of college. Newbold College in England.
Sucks that she's gone. I get along well with my sibling...i dunno about zebra but once you get to the age of collegeness you kind of mature and don't fight as much or stress each other out like you did when you were 10 years old.

Well my twin sister and I get along well, but my older sister who is 20 is a selfish bitch with the emotional maturity of a 5 year old...seriously. I don't really want to get into details....but for one thing she gets into cat fights with my mom a lot. It's just crazy when she's around because she doesn't deal with problems, and life, and stuff very well...so I'm so glad that she's gone. But my twin sister and I have always been on good terms.

Im the oldest child, and Im a sophomore in highschool, but I have a friend who is starting college at Louisville University in Kentucky this year.
Most of my friends are going to the University of Kentucky, as am I, seeing as how I have a full paid scholarship there.
And I just have a few words for other colleges:
The Wildcats basketball team is going to kick butt.

My sister goes to the University of Windsor here in Ontario, just accross the Detroit River from.....Detroit :p
I have aspirations of earning a football scholorship to Michigan, MSU or Ohio State. Possibly a school further down south, but I'd like to be fairly close to home.

Well, my brother goes to Bennington College in Vermont, and I was all set to enter my freshman year there also until about a month ago when my bandmates and I decided that we'd try to take some time off to become a full time band. We've got a couple of shows in Philly and are hosting an open band night every Wednesday in Newark. It's going well so far and I'll make it up to Bennington eventually, no hurry.

That's what Ozzy Osbourne said about Stanford University and look at him. He never ended up going and he's rich and has his own hit T.V. show on MTV.

I know two people attending the University of Colorado.
I'll be going to Diablo Valley College for two years before transferring to the college of my choice.

I'm almost done with college, another semester and I should have my B.S. degree. I'm at the University of Minnesota right now.

As I very often mention, I go to Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania, the #1 liberal arts college last year according to U.S. News and World Report (which means nothing, really, but it's fun to brag about).
My classmates from high school are in such places as the Ivy Leagues, Stanford, Oberlin and so on. Only two others from my school are also at Swarthmore.

My Bro is at Cal State University Northridge 'CSUN' and I'm at Bakersfield College.
I'm doing, um, well, my third year even though I'm still considerd a sophmore. My school is on the semester system... 3 semesters per year (Fall, Spring, and Summer). A person would need 60 units to gradutate and the max units you can take is 19 hours for Fall and Spring, and 7 for summer. It takes 30 units to be officially recognized as a sophmore.
Right now I'm sitting with around 40 units. I will graduate this year. This is a junior college, which is the freshman and sophmore years of college. When I transfer I plan to go to a CSU... to finish my junior and senior years, and then go to a US to get my masters degree....
All these plans and I don't even have a major ;)
Most likely I will just stick with Liberal arts and become a teacher.
-EDIT-
I went this far, might as well add more... this semester will be a very nasty one... I'm taking 18 units.
Monday Wednsday and Friday I have:
Philosophy 7, 7:00AM-8:02AM
American Sign Language 1, 10:30AM-11:32AM
Tuesdays and Thursdays I have:
History 17a, 8:00AM-9:25AM
American Sign Language 1, 10:30AM-11:32AM
English 1, 6:00PM-8:02PM
Saturdays I have:
Acedemic Development 50, 9:00AM-12:30PM
(If you haven't noticed, I bolded everything I don't like about my schedule)
One thing that is good though, is that there isn't a day where I take more than 3 classes, and on the day with 3 they are spread out. But, either way I look at it, it will be hell.

Gah! I go to the same college but I'm not poor. But I am white so what does that make me ?
Maybe you'll remember my post at the end of last summer about me studying for a college test, and not being allowed to use my computer until school ended. Well, I took the test, and placed 7919th in 1.4 million people.
And because of that, I chose to be a doctor in the military. It starts around the 10th of october. I'll definitely choose the navy after I graduate. I just know it.

I just started school esterday, well atleast being on campus. It's pretty cool so far. We had several events that were used to ease us into school and meet and greet. It has been different, I'm not homesick like I expected, but eh.

I start reporting to Brooklyn College this Tuesday. Used to be number 1 ranked as the most beautiful campus but was knocked down(stupid renovations).
But you know what's scary? We're talking about colleges and higher education when I'm pretty sure most of us were in high school. How much longer till we starting posting graduation and wedding dates and whatever comes after?
