Well if you caught Raw this past Monday, you'll know that the Raw main event for Summerslam (previously planned as Triple H defending the gold against Goldberg), has been changed quite a bit. The match is now a 6 Man Battle for the World Heavyweight Championship, inside the Elimination Chamber. The superstars locked inside the Chamber include, Triple H, Randy Orton, Chris Jericho, Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash and Bill Goldberg.
How does everybody feel about it?
I think it was for the best. Triple H is injured, and Goldberg can't through a decent match, so why bother? Adding 4 other guys and the Elimination Chamber, sure adds a lot more excitement to the match. Either way, if it weren't for the change, all three matches would have still happened (Randy/HBK, Trips/Goldberg, Y2J/Nash) at Summerslam, and I could only see good things coming from Orton and HBK.

On one hand it makes sense as the World Champion is injured and well neither can carry a great match with both men at 100%, and at this rate enither were gonna be 100%. So this way, Goldberg and Triple H still get to headline SummerSlam, but they don't have too much of an expectation on them.
On the other hand, Triple H is the world champion, and should be able to carry anybody to a decent match injured or not. Look at Angle, he fought Benoit at Rumble with a bum knee and Angle at Mania with a broken neck. Shawn Michaels fought Stone Cold at WrestleMania 14 with a bad back. If I'm not mistaken, Stone Cold and the Rock were injured a little before WrestleMania 15. Austin fought Rock with a bad neck at WrestleMania XIX. There really is no excuse for the quote on quote, top guy in the business to have to have others carry his work cua he is injured.

Go to User CP and join the SmartMarks usergroup, it's all about wrestling.
And yeah the main event is a lot better now. I don't think some of them belong to be in the main event of Summerslam, but it's sure as hell better than Goldberg vs Triple H. If this wasn't done then there'd be a lot less room for other matches as well. There'll likely be around 4 matches per brand, and if the EC match wasn't made then there'd be two extra matches, leaving almost everyone else on Raw off the card. Maybe Smackdown will get 5 matches or something now as well.
Plus hopefully this means Goldberg won't get the belt. I'm praying to god that Jericho wins. Goldberg sucks, Triple H is injured, has had the belt for way too long, needs a break, and sucks, Orton shouldn't even be in the main event at this point, Nash sucks, and I hate HBK with a passion. But in reality, I bet Jericho has the lowest chance of winning.

I would be happy if Orton or Y2J walks out of the match with the belt. If HHH wins, well, I'd be upset, but not nearly as upset as I would be if Goldberg, Nash, or HBK were to win.
