What do you think of the newest Star Trek movies? (First Contact, Generations, Insurrection, etc.)

first contact was good IMO, as well as Generations, Insurrection and Nemesis were total BS.
The true gems were the original 4 star trek movies.

I've seen Generations and the one with Borg...
I thought Generations was okay...the Borg one was alright..
I've never really been into Star Trek. I tried to once but then I decided if I had to try to like something, it wasn't worth it so.. I don't like Star Trek...

Hm, well, truth be told, my favorite ST movies are TWOK and Voyage Home, but they're both of the older variety...
Of the newer ones, I thought Generations was okay, but it seemed a bit too much like a bridge than a movie all its own. First Contact is my favorite out of the bunch you mentioned. It was very true to the series, and had action and effects without sacrificing plot. It was well made with good talent and a decent script. Insurrection was BAD. Loose plot, almost a chick flick in its lack of Treckness. I was so disillusioned with Insurrection, and was really busy, so I've yet to see Nemisis.

I don't know. I liked all the older ones. I thought Generations was pretty good. I liked the plot especially. First Contact IMO was excellent. The Borg have always interested me, the plot was also excellent. Insurrection was bleh and I also haven't seen Nemesis.
Like I said before, I really used to be a Trekky, but have lost teh spirit over the years. I maybe I'll rent Nemesis sometime.
