It's an 'east asian' convention, mainly devoted to anime... Y'know, tons of anime stuff (and other Japanese/Korean/etc stuff) with people dressing up in stupid costumes based on their favorite anime or videogame characters, or J-rockers or whatever they want...

It's this weekend in Baltimore... 8th, 9th and 10th... I be going with a friend of mine... Although I'm not dressing up as any character (me and Kathryn are just gonna dress up in stupid clothes and stuff)... Uhh.. yeah... Has anybody else heard of it? Otakon Website (http://www.otakon.com/)

Yeah... Umm I'm not much into anime though... Only one I've seen that was good is Cowboy Bebop... Trigun was ok too I guess... Ranma blows... and umm... That spirited away movie was quite swell...

Yeah... I just thought I'd bring it up... Because... I CAN... and like... yeah... there should be some pictures once we get back... :Poke:

Maybe after the convention I'll have been brainwashed and be in love with anime...

Yeah... I saw the movie before I saw any of the series... And umm... well I've only seen 1 TV episode...

outlaw star was another good show but they dont play it anymore its better to buy it anyway because they never showed the episode where he got the two #4's the #9 and #13 shells for his gun beacuse the episode was full of nudity and i mean full

Cowboy Bebop series is reeaally good. I love the characters.

I'm back... Though I don't have any pictures :p

Umm yeah... I didn't see much anime... A couple episodes of Inuyasha (another anime series that I think I'd like, though I havn't seen much of it) and umm Astroboy... And a couple Japanese live-action movies... We saw the last 30 minutes or so of one about Ballroom dancing and I'm not gonna explain it but it was actually pretty entertaining...

Umm and then the other one was called Ichi the Killer I think, and it had to do with gangs and such (and Ichi, who was some crazy guy who was being used by some guy to kill people) and there was some pretty graphic stuff (some of it so overdone it was funny)... Some guy being hung by a bunch of hooks that went through his skin and tortured... along with some guy cutting off the tip of his own tongue (they were nice enough to stick a close-up shot of that in the movie) and then some guy got cut in half and some lady got her throat slashed (with lots of blood spurting out very far)... Pleasant... actually I thought it was pretty entertaining too, though a bit over the top...

Anyways umm... Not a very exciting post, but whatever... I mentioned Inuyasha!... Umm... Does anybody like that?
