I just read the EGM review this morning: Gold! Oh yeah!
Now I'm excited more than ever to get it! Darn, the Gamecube controller was considered the worst for this game (except for the original X-Box controller). Oh well, we got the best exclusive character! :D ;) Anyway, who else is getting this game? If you're one of those people that owns two or three of current consoles, will you be getting SC2 for each system?
And not to forget my question: When does it come out?

It says August 27 at CubeIGN.

EDIT: *reads below post*
Although I guess they're wrong...
*shrugs and walks away again*
EDIT...again: Erm... I guess gekko imported his...
Which means it is coming out August 27...
Maybe...

I have the game, Link is awesome, and I used my X-Arcade, and it worked wonders.

I'll be receiving my beta version from Namco any day now, but yeah, the GCN controller kinda sucks for this game.
Also I've heard that Spawn was the best exclusive character.
meh.

Do you get a beta version because of your website?

It's coming end of august. 26th is the ship date, so you should be able to get it week of the 26th.
I'm getting it for xbox.
Unless you have an arcade stick or some other option, you really ought to find a non-cube option. That controller is going to be brutal.

Do you know of any such adapters? Preferably an X-Box one? If not, mastering it on the Gamecube Controller will just be an extra challenge :)

That is one of the reasons.

From what I have heard from importers, it's not too bad with the GC controller. But I'd still take an arcade stick any day.

The GCN controller is especially bad for this game because of the button layout. I personally find it quite difficult trying to pull off combos and such with this controller. I havent tried the game with any other controllers, but I'm probably going to buy some kind of controller port to hook my PS2 controller up to my GCN (I couldnt get the PS2 beta)

i was at gamestop today. and they had an adapter that let you play a PS2 controller on GC or Xbox.
one would assume there would be other such adapters.

Just pick up an arcade stick, you'll be happier in the end.

I've played the SC2 demo that I got with the demo disc Nintendo released awhile back, and I've had no major complaints with the button layout. Yes, its a little awkward, but I'm not wasting more money to get an adapter. An arcade stick would be great.
