it's been dead for so long. man i haven't been here for what a month, and there's no new threads or anything.

Some of the threads go into the Sports usergroup or the Smark's Mark usergroup, so it really is empty.

another bad side effect of the user groups :P it rather defeats the purpose of a message board. might as well just all go talk in a private chat room.

Right now is a pretty dry time for sports. The only major thing is baseball, and we all know how corrupt baseball is. Football is about to start though. :)

I'm just happy that my Phillies are still in first place in the wild card race. :) I'm gonna go see them play a doubleheader today, it's should be good considering the Padres sorta suck.

What about them? I don't know what happened in MLB, we already have topics for any important offseason NHL issues, and I don't know about NBA, but seems like there was two big trades/aquisitions and the Kobe thing only.

Yes, that's why he's in court. That chick acused him of rape. I don't think he's been convicted yet...but i might be wrong since I haven't been following the sports news right now.
