What's you favorite type of game?

Ex. Racing, Advanture, Puzzle, Stratgy, First Person Shooter Etc...

I like RPG's. I don't know why, just like the growing levels and gaining attacks, and I like to boss people around (Becaus eno one listins to me in real life). I lie how there is always extra little things to do in the game, and if your stuck, you can just train.

Hmm I don’t really know I like what I like I never try to put games into made up categories. I just like games I have played them for years from pong right up to today’s graphical marvels I just like them all RPG’s to FPS there all amazing me.

The flavor of this month has got to be FPS next month who the hell knows, well I do with no real console to play it’s going to be FPS again. I made the mistake of packing my Dreamcast and keeping my PS2 out.

I like adventure games. But fighting games can also be entertaining.

Wrestling games.

Like a fighting game, except with a LOT more moves. If you like fighting games, I don't see how you couldn't enjoy wrestling games at least a little.

*faints from enthusiasm* Ditto. I also like FPS's, RPG's, Act/Adv, and sports- it really depends on my mood for those, but I'm always willing to kick someone's arse in a fighter...;)

*dreams of kicking his arse kicked by Bobcat in KOF since everyone else in his area sucks at it*

I think that's a hint..................

I'm entering a KOF2001 comp very soon. March 3 I think.

The prize is money!!!!!!!

So I'm there. I'm gonna play as cheap as I can possibly think.............Yes that even includes infinities :(

And everyone around here are experts at it. So many Asian experts!!!

I'm the only non Asian expert at Kof. Feels kinda cool

I like sports, action, puzzle and adventure. RPGs are too repetitive, and so unoriginal nowadays. They were cool... but that was years ago. But, whenever another Chrono Trigger sequel comes out, or one of Star Ocean, I'll be there.....

FPSes are great too... but they are pretty much action.

This is more of a fight club kinda thing. Since its the only non-"exclusive to one console" forum. Sorry I had to

Feels kinda cool Yeah, I'm entering a Tekken 4/Tag tourney in Chattanooga in April: the prize there is only advancement to Sunnyvale for a trophy- but believe me, having won a Sunnyvale tourney is like having money- everyone wants to chat with you, even certain devvers of a certain game you mastered in a certain tourney....:D

I'm hoping they continue the MvC2 and KI2 tourneys up there, too...I'm damn good at those games (and 3rd Strike and CvS2), so if they keep up the old games, that increases my chances at the next B6 tourney...

Winning these little trashy Madden and Smash Bros tourneys around the strip clubs and bars here just doesn't cut it, but hey- at least it's cash...

Action Adventure be me fav...

Which would be like MGS (ok so that's more actiony/stealthishness maybe?), Silent Hill... Zelda...

But I can like RPGs just as much... an example of that would be FF7, 10, or Chrono Trigger... :p

First person shooters are nice... I don't like the straight up crazy action ones though... I like like... Medal of Honor... PD/goldeneye... half life... yep...

I'm really hard at picking favs of anything... :p

but I'd say Action/adventure yep...

I don't think i can well define what type of game i like, anything entertaining really. I love a decent platformer, i like games with a lot of action in to. I also like good 1st person shooters, and 3rd person shooters. One genre i'm not so keen on is sport, although there is the odd sport game i don't mind playing. I also think strategy games can get boring quickly, theres hundreds of strategy games on PC. Most of them are just the same as the last. So i don't really know what i'm trying to say in this post.......

What do u think of Tekken 4? I stopped playing Tekken after Tekken 3. But then i kinda got into TTT.

Tekken 4 looks interesting, but a lot of characters have been downgraded. Especially Xiaou (the school girl).

U playing Kof2001? It's real interesting. May Lee (the Korean girl) has some heaps nice tactics and combos. And Ramon is pretty good now. (well my one is newayz).

The more I play it, the more cheap players I see. And let me tell you the cheapest char (if played cheaply enuff) is Foxy. She's awesome. No gaps, Strong hits, good jump kick, and an invincible dragon.

Beni, Foxy, Clark, Ralf, Lin. Yep they are my cheap chars

The Grand Theft Auto 3 genre... (What is that? Action, adventure, racing, fighting, ect, ect...).

Also, as single genres, sports (in general; hockey, football, and so on), racing, and flying (flight games that involve fighting, or just normal flight sims).

eh, but let's not forget that Andy and Joe can be pretty cheap as well, and I just can't get over Mai. This girl seriously needs to show the DOA series what real "T&A" is...:D

I love Tekken 4, and believe me, Ling is STILL my fave character on that game; and as much as she's toned down, some of her "new" nasty tricks from Phoenix/Mistrust movements are just evil. So is Lee/Violet- that guy can go into hitman stance from anything now. In case you haven't yet, GET TO PLAYING T4- ESPECIALLY WITH THE NEW JIN. IMO, he's dirtier than Kazuya now; try him out...;)

Have u seen the freaky combos with May Lee on Kof2k1?

They are so good, and very tactical. Like u do duck D, change stance, Stand C, change stance. and do all these other confusing tactics haha.

King is really powerful. Good Jump CD, Super, Fast C, HCF C Suck........she's very powerful.

Foxy's dragon is bloody good, and her slide too. No gap.

I gotta get into Tekken 4. I was just getting into TTT, then Tekken 4 comes out :(

Is Hworang still good?

Is Hworang still good? Yeah, I like switching it up with King; doing the T,D,DT C/D after fireballs to freak out scrubs. The best tactic against novice and expert 'cade rats is the HCB CD horizontal scissors- they totally screw up peeps fireball and poke game.;)

Tekken 4 +Hworang= $hitty. He's too slow now; Nina and King can reverse every damn thing he has w/o thinking. You're better off starting to learn Jin or Craig Murduk from scratch- most scrubs (even some vets) simply aren't used to fighting these guys, so that's an advantage all it's own.

Just started playing w/ Christie- she's hella worse than Eddie Gordo now. I got everyone in the 'cade mad yesterday when I picked her. Not that bad looking for a CG character, either...:D
