Today's western division round 1 match is between:

Magus: Villian/comrade from Crono Trigger. Is he evil or good? I'm confused.

Pikachu: The little yellow rat thing from Pokemon.

Magus, without a doubt, I dont give a **** what you say, Magus is better than Pikachu.

Crono

First of all, I always saw Magus as good. Although he did do a few evil things (like turn Glenn into Frog). But Lavos is the true evil.

And Second, Magus would own Pikachu.

Magus better move on, or ELSE.

BEST video game character ever. Better than Sephiroth.

Pikachu.

The Dragonball Z look went out with the 80's. Cut your god damn hair and buy yourself some modern clothes and lose the farm scythe whatever the hell you are, Magus.

If you ever at least played Chrono Trigger, you would know that Magus lives in the year 600 AD. What else would you expect him to wear? The latest Nike fashion? Stop being so biased towards Nintendo's characters all the time, it gets annoying.

Dragonball Z look?

Crono Trigger and Dragonball Z both had the same character designer.

 Talk about hypocrisy, GameMaster.

But yes, your fanatacism with Pokémon is rather revolting. In the alphabetic thread that was up way back, I remember how every freakin' post you made was a Pokémon's name. *shudders*

Your Pokémon fanatical (I like Pokémon too... but not that much), pro Mac, anti-dragonball behavior happens to rub me the wrong way.

Oh well, just a part of your character. *shrugs* Makes for diversity in the forum.

I want to know who docked me reputation for voting Pikachu!

Talk about corrupt! I get penalized for participating in a vote? What's up with that? I'll continue to vote in these contests but I'm not going to post who I voted for if it's going to cost me, sheesh! You're just lucky my Domo-Kun came in the mail today whoever you are that docked me, because if it hadn't I'd be opening a can of detective whoop-ass on this mysterious villian!

I want justice! Would an admin please reveal the villianous trickster who has wronged me and deactivate the deduction?

 'twas me. I didn't like your attitude. But, no worries, you'll get a rep-up somewhere else (you already did, actually). Seriously though, I've gotten -1 rep before at an unnecessary time. It happens.

(and I read/post a reply to this after giving rep for you buying your domo-kun. What irony)

Vote for pikachu deserves -1 rep. Anyone agree? Having a disagreeance with the masses, and making a negative comment while at it can injure reputation. But, at least now it is seen as something comical for a change. Don't sweat it... I have 3 pips, that can't dent your rep like the one guy who -1 repped me for pointing out abuse of reps earlier ¦¬Ţ. And the irony continues.

Oh yeah, I gave someone else -1 rep to even it out. Pardon me.

This is the only time, that I recall, defending a fictional character. You, on the other hand, always seem to be pro Nintendo in these polls (and elsewhere on these forums), no matter what the opponent. Dylflon could've put the biggest, most powerful, non-Nintendo character there is, and in your mind, Pikachu would still win. I'm not trying to offend you or anything, but I just don't see how you can be so pro-Nintendo and anti-everything else. I was once what people would call a "Nintendo fanboy", but I was smart enough to at least recognize the good in the "opposing" consoles. I don't think you're like that.

Anyway, it doesn't matter if you are a Nintendo fanboy or not. I should just say that it isnt a fair vote when you know nothing about the other character. Also, the "Cut your hair" and "get modern clothes" were poor excuses to not vote for Magus, which I thought was fairly stupid. And when this is a small scale poll, ignorant votes can be bad for the matchups.

i voted for pikachu simply because he's much more powerful than magus

go pikachu, agility, now do a thunder strike!!!

:D, i'm the product of one too many pokemon episodes at a younger age

This is a popularity contest, not who would win a fight. So yes, if he likes Pikachu better than the biggest, most powerful, non-Nintendo character there is, then he is perfectly justified in voting for the little yellow rat.

And his excuse that Magus's hair is too long and clothes are too old are good excuses for the same reason. I see no reason why which character GM likes better should matter so much to you...unless you're just a Square fanboy who doesn't want to see his precious Chrono Trigger character beaten.

People are allowed to vote for anyone they want. If people started docking rep for voting for someone you didn't want them to, a flame war could ensue. Plus it's not fair that someone's rep gets lowered because they like Pikachu. This is called discriminating, boys and girls.

Seeing how I'm running this here contest, if you dock people's rep for voting for a character in the character battle you don't like; I'll talk to an admin or supermod about having you banned from the contest forum until it ends.

You've all been warned. Now, let's all try to get along.

Thats not the point. It seems that whever it comes down to Nintendo vs. Everytihng else (not just here, in everything, like discussiosn and such), he's always so biased towards Nintendo. THAT is what I'm talking about. But anyway, let's drop the subject.

Magus is the victor. Onto round 2 he goes.

 And I assume I can't voice my opinion, that the reputation of someone is lowered if they obsess about Pokémon characters and insult another's design with bias intent? You teeny-boppers will some day learn what reputation is based upon... hopefully.

"It's a madhouse.... a MADhouse!!"

Hopefully at least some will respect that I, unlike others, will live up to my -repping. I won't cower when I try to point out the faults of others. If I dislike the way someone acts, I tell the person how it is. In 90% of my reps (I wanted to see how long it took before GameMaster cracked, "tee hee"), I attach "-RndmP" or just "-RP" along with a comment so that the receiver will understand who enjoys or dislikes their posts.

What some do not understand is that the -1 rep for voting for Pikachu was in a half joking manner. Instead, the "flaming" persisted... naive and ignorant feelings were hurt. No, I'm not sorry for giving a tiny -1 rep to him. I felt it was correct. However, I also didn't give him -10 reps. That would be abusing the system.

There was a post how people do not rep people enough. Reputation is built every day, even over little things such as a vote. If GameMaster (as well as everyone else) received reputation for every worthy post (good or bad), then things would be a lot different.

M'oh well, it was a funny experience and I hope people learn from it.

...

Go Magus! ... you're cool with your "long hair and farm equipment"

I would like to inform the public that at 3:32 this afternoon I was violated again within this thread with a reputation deduction. The villianous suspect this time wrote, "you are such a moron".

If you or anyone you know has any information leading to the identity of this culprit, please contact a GameTavern adminastrator with your name, age, and the information you have.

Whoever you are doing this, reveal yourself or know that you will be caught.
