That is the funniest thing I've ever heard. I applaud him for doing it. He's right, there are too many stupid people in the world.

If he doesn't like serving rich, powerful caucasians, then he can leave America.

thats some funny sh*t, in away the guy was an ass, but if you want another language tatooed on your body.... you should do some research on exactly what you want, and what IT SHOULD LOOK LIKE afterwards, instead of asking for one thing and having prostitute put on you. But still this guy was an ass.. picking on poor college kids :(

Aww, give me a break. Sympathizing for the college punks?

While he could simply not tattoo on them... it wouldn't do much more than stall them. Punishment is the only true way to get out a message. If the person had asked with proper research... and a sense of respectfor the language, they may have gotten the correct word. I can understand the man's anger at those who disrespect the honor of his language... his culture.

“It’s not a crime, it’s a public service.”
Damn straight.

That guy is such an asshole. If he really is sick of non-Japanese people with Japanese characters as tattoos destroying "Japense heritage", he could simply refuse to offer Japanese characters as choices for a tattoo.

I also find it ironic that while he's disgruntled with Americans "destroying Japanese culture", he doesn't seem to care much about how people in Japan are pretty much doing the same thing to the English language and American culture. If you walk around in Japan, you can expect to see English written on signs and on shirts because it looks "hip" to them, even if the words make no sense to an English speaker (e.g. choose one making you better feeling!) If you want hilarious examples of this, go to www.engrish.com.

www.engrish.com.

Heheheh... I love that site. I find the misuse of the language humorous.

“All these preppy sorority girls and suburban rich boys think they’re so cool ‘cause they have a tattoo with Japanese characters. But it doesn’t mean **** to them!” Sakai said. “The dumbasses don’t even realize that I’ve written ‘slut’ or ‘pervert’ on their skin!”

That's just not right. Especially since the tatto is permanent... Oh well, at least she can get another tatto to cover it up.

How do you know for sure?

Read it again. Consider the source, consider how it's written, consider the individual stories, consider the story as a whole. Think about how much this sounds like an "urban-legend," and how many other similar bullsh*t things like this are out there.

Give the article some thought. Not a chance in hell is this even remotely true.

would be pretty funny if it was true...
