EB games had an error this morning with NFL2k3 listed at 4.99. It's now 14.99.
Not that big a deal but still.

Yeah, Rygar for PS2 was only $4.99. The funny thing is that when some people saw those errors, they thought it was real and ordered the game online.

I remember a pre order error on a site that had Unreal Championship for 29.99 last year. I know that some of the people actually did get the game for 30$ but some were left out in the cold.

the others didnt push hard enough then.
If they have it advertised for a certain price they will legally HAVE to give it to you at that price. even if its a mistake.
so some people could actually get the game for 4.99 if they have it advertized as that and you can prove it.

Yes, but online they can take down the item and fix the price rather quickly. And if a store screws up, they can post a correction on the door.
Either way, only a few people will manage to benefit from the mistake.

Exactly.
As I remember it the price was that way for over a week and everyone who was on any major board knew about it. A few months later, right before the release, they sent out emails to everyone who ordered it saying that they wouldn't be honoring the 30$ tag. Everyone who complained ended up getting it for 30, other people didn't speak up.

Honestly I don't see what the big deal is about SB's price; I mean, Killer Instinct was $80 for SNES, Virtua Racing was $105 for Genesis, and I have numerous games for my Neo-Geo Silver that have cost me well over $250.
IMO, Steel Battalion is cheap considering what all you get with it, but eh...

if it was capable with multiple games, like if they released Virtual On to also be compatible with it and such than maybe it would be worth it, but for one game, i mean, your notgonna play it for more than 100 hrs, max, and then you just let it collect dust in the basement...its just not worth the money
