I'm not allowed to copy and paste the text so I'll provide a link. It's an article about quantum physics and how it suggests the entire universe might be a hologram. It's interesting if you're into science and math and stuff.
Are You A Hologram? (http://www.sciam.com/article.cfm?articleID=000AF072-4891-1F0A-97AE80A84189EEDF&ref=sciam)
If you like that, there's a book called the Holographic Universe you might read. Some of it is retarded, but it makes a few good points.
That's the kind of thing that made me glad I passed Physics 11....

I did grade 12 physics, and this sh*t still makes very, very little sense.
Holographic universe...

I'm not going to read past the first page of that article.
Basically, I guess they suggest a Matrix-like reality. That all of our senses are generated from a single intelligence. And, from our senses and what the information tells us of them, we get the universe as a whole.
Theories like this try to explain life, but it just makes paradoxes. If the world is a hologram of pure "information"... then where would the information originate from? A non-holographic world? Why would that world be "real" and ours holographic? If there was a "real world" that made the hologram, could we be sure it was not holographic as well? Just... bunches of information that passed on the information.
The Matrix can have it's fun with the theory, but if I hear much more of anything similar to it, I'll just say "screw it" and wait to find out what happens when I die.
Heh heh.. the funny thing is, people can make all the bull**** theories they want and they still won't be close.

Maybe they won't be close. Who really knows for sure though?
Yeah, there's no God that's going to come down when we figure it out.
"Congrats, you've figured out the meaning of life"
"Hey, THANKS, God!"
How EMPTY would you feel after that? Our lives would feel predetermined. What a waste of time that would be. Waste of time figuring it out, and waste of time knowing it. And the people who actually figure it out turn out to be crazy in our eyes and we won't believe them, which has been that way since ancient times.
It's like thinking how big the Universe is.. it just... hurts... my brain!
