Do you believe in aliens if thats what you wanna call them? Are they among us? Do you believe there is life outside our small planet? If so, how do account for the fact that we haven't "connected" with any? Are we primitive when compared with life elsewhere? Or maybe we are too advanced? How come no flying objects have been identified? Are aliens really tall and lanky with large black eyes or have we convinced ourselves they are through the millions of eyewitness accounts. What are your theories... http://www.freakygamers.com/smilies/s2/cwm/alien/alien2.gif

I dunno about any of those crazy theories or sightings or anything, but in such a big universe, what are the chances of Earth being the only planet that can support and has life on it... ?
Methinks there's gotsda be something out there somewhar...
And they're probably maaaagical things
....

lol good one.
Anywayz, I beleive there is life, but I dont beleive there is intelligent life.
For example, I beleive if we go to a planet someday we will find animals and stuff, but I dont beleive youll find aliens in cities and stuff, get me?
Don't you mean 'When will humans make contact with an alien civilization?"

I'm not sure. I'm religious, so I gotta be carefull with what to believe. I don't like the idea that God created other lifeforms on other planets. But it would be nice to meet them in some thousand years!

That's what I mean, I think if we do find life it would be other unintelligant animals. I think if we were to find other intelligant life, I doubt they'd be as advanced as us, or have any sort of space travel....

It's a statistical certainty that there is life somewhere else in the universe. It's probable that there is intelligent life as well. But as a skeptic, I won't believe that extraterrestrial life exists until it's proven to me.
So I guess you'd call me an alien agnostic.
I definitely don't believe that aliens walk among us. And the reason we haven't seen any other life is because the universe is so huge. How easy do you really think it is to go looking through even a galaxy, searching every planet for life? Similarly, if aliens exist, they aren't likely to have found us. And even if they did, so what? They have no reason at all to be visiting us. They might very well have enough problems at home without bringing us into the picture.
So if you're expecting aliens to visit us, I'd say you should stop thinking we're so important in the universe.

I dunno, I mean statistics say that there is definetely life somewhere else in the universe. There is definitely nothing close by, perhaps not even in this galaxy, but somewhere in the universe there has to be life.

There has to be life somewhere in this big universe of ours. Or so I think.
I do not really care, though. I mean, it doesn't affect me if there is ETs, and it doesn't affect me if there isn't.

Yes, but we just don't have the technology availible to contact or find these civilizations.

Right now scientists are working on a telescope which will allow them to view planets close to stars (right now the star's light blinds them from smaller closer planets) which would be similar to our own planet. They found microscopic fossils of organisms from Mars, so if there was life that close to us then who knows how much else is out there.
