Anyhow, what versions of the GameBoy have you owned?

Have you purchased one in multiple colors?

My first Gameboy was a Gameboy Color, clear purple, got it for Christmas.

Then I bought a clear purple GBA when it came out. Many months later I lost it at school and it was never seen again...

So I shortly bought a Limited Editon Platnium GBA.

Then I receive news of the new GBA-SP :mad:

But, I couldn't resist, depsite having a brand new GBA, I still had to have an SP, so I bought it the day it came out, silver colored.

Now I have a GB Player so I don't touch either GBA unless I go out somewhere on a trip or something.

First I had a clear Game Boy Pocket.

Then a Pokemon Yellow special Game Boy Color.

Then I sold that when I decided Pokemon sucked and got a turquoise GBC.

Then I got my Glacier Game Boy Advance.

And...that's about it.

My first Game Boy was the original one. I think I got it either X-mas of '89 or X-mas of '90.
Next came the Super Game Boy.
Never owned the GBC/GBA
And now I currently own the GameBoy Player:D

I've purchased all different versions of the GB's, but I've never purchased different coloured ones of the same version, not for myself atleast.

Game Boy Color, solid purple, clear purple is crap :p

Game Boy Color, bundled with Pokemon Yellow. Pika!

Game Boy Advance, import, white.

Game Boy Player, import, Spice.

Only missed Game Boy Light, and Super Game Boy 2, neither were released in the US.

Well, I got a glacier GBA on launch. Gave it to my sister as a grad present. Got another glacier GBA.

Sold my glacier GBA when the SP came out.

Bought the platinum GBAsp.


Never use it. As much as AdvanceWars 2 looks nice, i don't think i want to shell out 40 bucks for the game. Kind of looking forward to the ninja turtles game.

They were never released in the US.

Game Boy Light came out after Game Boy Pocket. Basically it was just a Game Bot Pocket, with a backlight. Avaliable in Gold and Silver.

Super Game Boy 2 was a clear blue color, and features the port on the side so you could connect to other Game Boy units.

First I got a Game Boy way back in the day.. it's wonderful grayness overloaded my pleasured eyes for years.. then I wasn't interested in Game Boy Pocket. Bigger screen and smaller size didn't do it for me, and their battery medium was horrible. My friend lost a lot of game saves because the batteries cut short too many times.

Then when Game Boy Colour was out, and was all the rage, I got one.. but unfortunately it was so popular, the only colour left was berry pink. I was okay with that though, and a bit later on my bro got one that was green. Then at the launch of the GBA I bought an indigo and my brother bought a glacier. Aaaand... that's it so far. It's a little bland but I played a lot of games on them and that's good enough for me.

I might as well list what my BROTHER has had, since the GB's are mostly his. Gameboy Pocket, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, and Gameboy Advance SP. And I had a Game Gear :)
