As found on Cube-Europe (http://www.cube-europe.com/news.php?nid=4810)
The SD Digi-Card Adapter is already available for purchase from Nintendo's Online Store (Japan). There are 2 "versions" you can buy. One with just the adapter, and the other the adapter plus an SD card. The Japanese release date of the SD Adapter was supposed to be July 18th, but maybe you can buy online now, and the actual store release date will still be July 18th.
So it works with all games, huh? I thought I read somewhere that it would only work with future games.. or something.. I really hope it's not that.

I think what you mean is that future games will take advantage of the SD Card. Nintendo already announced Animal Crossing e+ where you can download/upload items from other people, clothing you made, etc.... And if SD prices get cheaper, you can go on the net and download another level to a game like say Metroid. Lets say Nintendo or Retro want you to be able to play a level that they didn't get the chance to put into the full game. They could have you download it and then you can play it. Basically the setup would be similar to the XBox and how you can save updates to the HD. Except with the 'Cube, its more "functional". Now all I have to do is restart my PSO character and use the SD card, if Nintendo ever releases it here.

Hm... I don't think Nintendo will have 'patches' for games, like Microsoft. They'll use it for additional items and stuff, but complete levels??
Of course other developers can do that.
One of the coolest things is that you can exchange save files with others. So if you really suck in a game, but still want to play all the levels, you could just DL a save file. :D
