How do you usually get your anime fix? Do you watch one of the blocks currently on TV that airs anime (Toonami, Adult Swim, and Anime Unleashed), do you buy or rent the DVDs, or do you download it off the internet or from a p2p software?

I used ot just watch it on Toonami and Adult Swim but then I began to download it off Kazaa and then I found out Atomik Pop was renting anime and I started that.

Anyway...

What's on Adult Swim?

Cowboy Bebop, Inu Yasha...

At least that's what I remember being on from awhile back.

I get a lot from downloading. At times I also watch TV for anime (cowboy bebop), then in anime club in my school we always watch anime DVDs

What's on Adult Swim?

They've shown several... Although only a few at a time.

They've had (as I can remember):

Cowboy Bebop
Pilot Candidate
Gundam 0083
Gundam 0080
Mobile Suit Gundam
Char's Counterattack
Yu Yu Hakusho
Inuyasha
Trigun
Reign
Lupin the 3rd (second series)
Kikaider

It is also getting Big O (uncut and new episodes) and Blue Gender.

If I'm not mistakened, they show Rurouni Kenshin on Toonami. It's a great show.

I lvoe Rurouni Kenshin, but the English dubbing is terrible. If you ever have a chance I'd watch it in subtitles.

What's wrong with the dubbing? Is it the translation or is it the voices? I've never had a problem with their voices...

If you ever have a chance I'd listen to subtitles.
It takes skill to do something like that.

Well I get some of my manga from the store and I get some manga off of mIRC like Hellsing which was finally liscensed here (el w00t).

I get a lot and I mean a LOT of my anime off of Kazaa and Bittorrent. Ask BF about how much I have. :D

I only purchased one anime DVD which was the first volume of Love Hina. I plan to purchase the entire Hellsing series (English dubbed) for 25 dollars off of discountanimedvd.com. I also plan to buy the Saikano series from the same place for 35 bucks too.

I buy all my anime DVDs at Futureshop. Too lazy to watch it on TV, and too lazy to download it.

Well considering that it would take me 15 minutes to go buy an entire season of an Anime on DVD of which I could watch anytime I want, I think thats a lot better than making the effort to watch them on TV at certain times and on certain dates. Not to mention a lot of the better shows dont even come on until after midnight, so screw that, I'll just buy them on DVD (I would eventually buy them anyway...)

What can you expect from Darkmaster?
not much, that's for sure.

A place where I think you can get some good deals is a place called discountanimedvd.com

They sell a lot of different selections of anime and they are mostly in Japanese with subs of course. I saw all of Love Hina there (including all the TV eps Christmas Special, Spring Special, Final Selection, and Love Hina Again Includin music videos o_O) for about 100 bucks. That's pretty cheap when you think about it. I also saw all Hellsing English dub and all eps for 25 bucks.

Sweet deal :D
