I'm interested in who here plays sports, and which sports you all play (or have played).

I've pretty much competed in all major sports, and excelled in a lot of them.

Hockey - 1991-2001 ('AA' competitive)
Baseball - 1990-2000 (Toronto Little League team 99-00)
Soccer - 1990-93, 1999 (house league :p)
Basketball - 1996-1999 school team, 2002 Toronto Basketball Association...still play lots of streetball
Football - 2002-present (North York Grizzlies, competitive)
Golf - 1998-present (Junior Tournaments, Golf Instructor job, 12 handicap)

Hmm...

Soccer: 1994-2001

Played a couple in rec leagues. Then went to traveling. Played a couple years just in the summer, then played year-round. Played high school sophomore year, didn't care for the coaches, or many of the players. So I quit.

Would still play, but my traveling squad split up. Played a year older, so when the guys hit high school, it begins to fall apart. Coaches son left to work, so the coach quit, many players quit. :(

It was fun though. Minnesota is home to the 2nd largest youth soccer tournament in the world (2nd to Holland Cup), so we had the chance to face many teams from across the world.

Baseball- 1992-1996 (little league). 1997-1998 (middle school team) 1999-2003 (high school team)

Football- 1997-1998 (middle school team) 1999-2000 (high school team)....*injured my back, from then on unable to compete :(

Basketball- 1997-1998 (middle school team) 2002-2003 (high school team)

Soccer- 1989-1990...little kids league deal...

That's about it, I'm going to a college that doesn't really have sports, so that's a bit sad, but I'll still probably play some street hoop and an occasional baseball game up there.

Eh, alright:

I played Soccer for like 3 years as a kid, Soccer is a fairy sport tho so yea. I played Little League baseball in like 4th and 5th grade...I didnt like it, but I kinda with I would've kept playing, because baseball is my favorite sport, by far. I ran track in 2000 and 2001, 7th and 8th grade. And ive been playing golf for quite some time, and I played on my high school golf team as a freshman, had a few bad rounds as a Sophmore and didnt make the team(im not really that good anyways) And I'll Bowl once in awhile...My average is probably like 140. The only sport that I play now on a consistent basis is golf, and sadly im still not that good. My best score on my home course with a par of 60, is like an 80 :(

I played baseball when I was younger. I played basketball for 4 years, stopped in grade 9. I also play golf when I get the chance. As well, I am involved in Kendo, which is sorta like a sport...

I can never understand how a "sport" invented by potheads has become so mainstream.

I think you've seen PCU a few too many times. There were no potheads on our team, and if you play if competitively its a lot of fun, and a great workout. We even had plays and formations, not unlike basketball.

What is PCU?

All of the teams at schools near my area are filled with potheads... Its like the only activity they seem to do.

Hockey
Floor Hockey
Basketball
Soccer
Baseball
Lacrosse
Wakeboard

I play many other sports on my own time. I don't have the time for soccer and baseball now. Next year i'll probably just play Hockey and Basketball. I'll wakeboard for as long as i'm still home. I'll probably have to give it up once i go off to college cuz my parents don't use the boat much.

I Played Basketball and Football in HS, and now I do Football and Track in College. I played Baseball one year too...

As for the years... hmm... I don't want to think about it :p

Next season I'm thinking of Making my basketball comeback. Cause I like to play Basketball more, my athletic ability is good enough, but my skills at the college level aren't exactly, um... I'll play football too, as for track, already got two half ass seasons under my belt, and at this college two active years is the max.

Not disc golf for me, Ultimate Frisbee. Much different. Its like a mix of soccer and football with a frisbee.
