I always thought "The Bandish Band of Banditude" would be an awesome name for a band...

Stick random words together to create a name that has no meaning at all and sounds really stupid...

It can't be too hard...

Or you could try to think of something that has meaning... But psshhhh why bother?

Gummi Bears on Tricycles, oh wait, don't take that name...I should patent the name first since it came out of my randomness. Besides I doubt you'd like it anyway.

I'd name it after early 80's video game characters... what with the Atari wrist bands and Pac-man shirts drowning Hot Topic that could be cool for another year or two I suggest:

The Q*Berts
Pitfall Harry and the Dragsters
Pop Flammer
Smackson Jackson
El Gorf
Ed Logg and the Vectors (that's kind of awful you might not want to use that)
Hayabasa (sp? the Ninja Gaiden guy... that's more late 80s)
Tempest
Quadrapong (a dlightful pun if you got 4 people in your band)
Quadrun (ditto)
Crazy Climber
M.C. Munchkin and the Munchkins (I'm reaching there)

etc... etc..

I also suggest naming yourself after 80s basketball players. It worked for Mookie Blaylock, until they became Pearl Jam. Iceman Gervin, maybe Alex English. A.C. Green.

Kangaroo Court (it's a phrase meaning persecution or inquisition)
Alleged Martyr
Erratic Insurgency (or just Insurgency)

Or, German:
Name//Translation//Phonetic

Urteil //Judgement//Er-Tile
Fieber//Fever//Fee-ber
Kontrollverlust//Loss of Controll//Control-ver-Lust

Just a few things I personally would consider. I still like Kangaroo Court, heh.

My friend's named their band that once... But I think they've gone through about 30 different other names by now...

My friend's band name is Ernest Goes to Hell he used to have a "crass-core" band (loud gratting punk I guess) called The Ovalteen. He had a pretty funny name once involving Zombies and Vaginas but I can't remember what the name was... Rotting Zombie Vagina maybe....
