I competed in my Section 8AA track meet today. Winning relays advance to state as well as top 2 individuals in other events. The events I qualified for from the sub-section meet were the 4x800 meter relay and the 400 meter dash.
My 4x800 team won the event with a time of 8:03.54. My split was a 2:02, a personal best for my life. Our school's record in the 4x800 is 8:00.48. We could easily break that record since 2 of my guys ran 2 seconds slower than they could've.
I didn't even try in the 400 since I was seeded 15th out of 18th.
Anyway, that's my story. I thought it was fitting htat I made it to state this year because this is my last year of HS. In fact, I'm already graduated...

My split was a 2:02
Good sh*t, man...I'd be lucky to break 3 minutes
I used to be a pretty good runner back when I was 11 though. I can't quite remember my 400m time, but it was around 1:10. I won regional school titles in the triple jump though...and a couple 2nd's in long jump.

I saw a guy run 10.50 in the 100 in sectionals.

speed, although a bonus, isn't even close to being the most important aspect of a good running back. but I bet you knew that already ;)

Of course GameMaster :D.
Ha, I used to be a running back in 6th grade. Fast, but I was so tiny (like, under 100 lbs). Yeah, that lasted about 3 games, then I got injured and was safety from then on.
Football sucks man, join track and or cross country :D.

I used to run track in 7th and 8th grade. I ran the 200m , and the 4x200m relay. I wasnt bad at the 200, not amazing or anything, I cant really remember my best time, Im thinking like 26 or 27 seconds. Our relay almost made it to state in 8th grade...we got third at sectionals and we needed 2nd or better to get to state. I wonder what my times would look like now...I was never good at anything over 200M because I tired quickly.
