Hey, i just downloaded kazaa lite...so far it seems cool...but theres one problem. I have no idea how to share my songs that i had taken off my old kazaa. i moved em to a diff. folder so they wouldnt be deleted in the uninstallation (of kazaa) process, so i still have em. any ideas what to do?

theres also this thing that came with kazaa lite called speed up...do i need it or can i delete it?i have cable modem....does this make a diff/wahts it do?thanks!

Just move your old files to Kazaa Lite's Shared Folder.

nm...i read that alot of people had their files magically deleted with kazaa lite...so back to kazaa i go...grr

Been using lite for a while.. i dont see how files magically get deleted... things like that dont just happen :unsure:

Yea, but does Limewire really offer the diversity of stuff that Kazaa does? I doubt it. But ive never really liked Kazaa anyways, and I got a new PC, so I might as well try either Kazaa lite or Limewire.

LimeWire sux... Kazaa has much more Sharefiles and more to choose from.

I quit downloading music. Makes my computer not be a bitch :)

Ive been using it for about 3 months now... all my large files seem to be intact... over 100 mb i consider large i guess... I got like 40 files over 100 mb and im pretty sure they all still there

I REALLLY hated the pop ups of regular kazaa i was fed up so i switched... i feel like speeds are a bit faster on lite also...

no it doesnt

i had over 1500 songs.

and believe me i kept track of the number, cuz my program told me the number every time i went to play. and was in race with other people for whom collects more. plus i have a 10 page list of every song i have printed out.

of course i dont have them anymore..... 5 years of collecting and HD craps out and they gone.

so now i just go thro that 10 page list and cross them out as i get them again (ha, i bet you were thinking why the hell does he need a 10 page list, see, it comes in handy :P )

Anywho. its never deleted a song. just keep track of them and keep them organized.

if yoru looking for one. kazaa lite is the one to have.

normal Kazaa will install spyware on your computer. keeps track of what you do online and sends info back.

Also what causes a lot of theos pop ups that come up when yoru not doing anything. not even having a browser open. they just pop up. (less you got firewall)

I want to delete kazaa, and get kazaa lite, but when i go to remove kazaa, this message comes up:

um. reboot your computer. and make sure kazaa is not running in the system tray. then try?

Have you used a spyware remover? That sounds similar to when I used Ad-Aware (spyware remover program), because it said I was missing some file when I tried to either open Kazaa or uninstall Kazaa and it wouldn't run.

To fix it, though, I just reinstalled regular Kazaa, and then uninstalled it. Then I ran the Ad-Aware again to be sure all the spyware remnants were gone.

fixed....kazaa lite aint too shabby...i downloaded "matrix reloaded" but it was actually porn lol
