This game is turning out better than I thought it would. I'll be picking up thsi game when it comes out. THe graphic quality isn't that good. Some of the pictures are grainy

I've read small bits of it in the new EGM (July Issue) and it sounds pretty good. I hope Konami brings it to other systems, since I haven't played a 3D castlevania since the '64 days. I just hope Konami gets the controls very good.

Yeah the screenshots don't look that great... It looks like they were smaller and somebody blew them up to be bigger and made them all crappy...
I can't tell if the game is using a numbered HP amount or a bar of life like in older games (for the main character, at least)... I hope they use numbered HP that will increase as your level goes up...
The game sounds pretty nice overall though, I just hope they get everything nice and right... I still hope they make a 2D with 3D graphics castlevania game like Contra: SS or the upcoming Gradius game (both made by Konami)... I think that'd be neat...

The latest EGM has me REALLY hyped for this game. This is shaping up to be a must buy for me, and a very good exclusive PS2 title this holiday season.
And DH, I think that if they make a 2D (gameplay) Castlevania on next gen systems, they should keep the graphics 2D (sprites, particles). Looking at Konami's expertise at creating dazzling special effects, I think a SotN-esque CV with next gen sparkle would be amazing. Making the models 3D would be a waste IMO.

I dunno... I just think 2D gameplay with 3D graphics look neat... Contra, Gradius, and even Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance could be considered that (since it plays as a top down action/RPG, although the view is slightly angled and not straight down)... Just because the graphics are 3D, but they can still get really nice and detailed and stuff because there's no big deal with draw distance and stuff... But 2D with sprites and all would be fine too... *shrugs* I Just hope if they make another game with 2D gameplay, it's an official sequel to SotN...

This game looks great. I can't wait for it. I'll aso be picking up an older Castlevania classic (SotN on PSX) soon. I hope LoI is just as fun.

I've been trying to looks for Symphony of the Night. But non of the gaming stores around here don't have them used or anything. Might have to end buying it online.

Well I did find Symphony of the Night. I find it to be one of the best games I've ever played! Damn... the castlevania series are the best. I hope that this game lives up to the 2D games.
