I'd like to get GT4 online sometime. Maybe even FFXI if I hear a good review from DarkMaster.
By the way, about how much does the network adaptor go for these days?
Ah yes, excuse the resurrection of an old topic.

I think the NA is $40. Sony is going to start bundling the NA with the PS2 soon though...

Hmm, and I assume an internet service or phone line would also be necessary? I had a dreamcast with plans of going online (had a keyboard too), but never got around to it because PSO was dying anyway due to the GCN version.

I do not think there were any plans to make a GCN PSO when PSO was out on DC. :/

Sorry for bringing this topic back from the dead... but, I finaly decided to buy a Network adapter.
Ok, so this is what I have planned. I won't be getting any game that charges monthly. Only free games.
So what I have in mind right now is NBA2K3.
Also, SOCOM costs $60. :( I really wanted SOCOM but it's too expensive... What do you guys reccomend. NBA2K3 is for certain, but I want something else. Not a sports game.

SOCOM should drop in price soon
Non-sports games? Only other non-sports games I've played online are Midnight Club 2 and Amplitude...and I really like them both. But they're not for everyone...I'd read up on them and rent them, if you're interested, before buying.

I will be buying Final Fantasy XI and Resident Evil: Outbreak though, hope to see some of you guys when those two games are released.
GT4 and SSX 3
was thinkin bout FFXI, but i'll prolly get that for PC since it comes out first and might be able to play for free.
