I think that this article is a couple of weeks or months old.. But I just recently stumbled upon it. It is kind of neat.. And I like it! So here it is.
NEW YORK – Andrew Carlssin claims to be from the future! After being arrested on January 28th for insider trading disbelieving authorities still have a few mystery questions which remain unanswered.
Federal investigators arrested the Wall Street trading sensation on insider-trading charges. Officers at the Security and Exchange Commission revealed that the 44-year-old has had some unbelievable successes in the stock market over the past two months.
He maintains that he arrived in his time machine from the year 2256 and that his ‘past’ knowledge of the market fluctuations were the secret of his success.
A Securities Exchange officer was quoted as saying - "We don't believe this guy's story -- he's either a lunatic or a pathological liar,"
"But the fact is, with an initial investment of only $800, in two weeks' time he had a portfolio valued at over $350 million. Every trade he made capitalized on unexpected business developments, which simply can't be pure luck.
"The only way he could pull it off is with illegal inside information."
The fact is that Carlssin made 126 high-risk trades and won each and every time. This is what alerted the Wall Street authorities.
"If a company's stock rose due to a merger or technological breakthrough that was supposed to be secret, Mr. Carlssin somehow knew about it in advance," says the SEC source close to the hush-hush, ongoing investigation.
Under investigation Carlssin gave a four-hour confession which is pretty unbelievable.
"It was just too tempting to resist," Carlssin explained during his confession. "I had planned to make it look natural, you know, lose a little here and there so it doesn't look too perfect. But I just got caught in the moment."
He even reportedly offered to reveal the whereabouts of Osama Bin Laden and a cure for AIDS if the court would cut him a bit of slack. He simply want so be released so he can return to the future in his "time craft." But refuses to reveal the finer details of this futuristic technology.
Even though officers don’t believe a word of his story they’re bamboozled by one strange fact . The SEC source confirms - "No one can find any record of any Andrew Carlssin existing anywhere before December 2002."
I think that this is very neat... And I wonder if he is telling the truth! LOL... Highly unlikely... But could be possible.. lol
